Haha okay, not bad for an $8 can then I guess. I have a hard time with guys that say things like that. I’d rather just do it with whatever I can get a hold of and if it turns out it’s not up to par I’ll simply redo it with a different product.

Uhhm black? Honestly it’s just some cheapo semigloss black bought at biltema (Sweden’s version of harbor freight). I usually paint all my smaller details  with this paint. Not the best, but quick and cheap to put on.

Why not just sell it on craigslist or facebook? Even if you get next for nothing it’s still better than having it sitting in the corner of your garage for 10 years before you finally decide to do something with it.

Manual steering and brakes?! Add a big block on top of that and you can’t get very much manlier than that.

Not really. You can probably find a better used unit for around 200$. I’m just to cheap and when your acquiring hundreds of other small parts it’s just been a low prio to get a hold of one.

I know what you mean. There were days I couldn’t stand looking at the thing. During those days I would always try to do a simple easy job and that in turn would motivate me to continue with the bigger jobs. Read more
