Yes, Superstore is very funny almost all the time. This show is not. But I guess the expectation is that more people want coverage of a "superhero" show than a show about people who work at Kohl's. Or they're getting paid by DC

He's very polite.

I did not care for this. The previews looked cheesy and unfunny, but I find most comedy previews give me that impression, with little relation to the end result. Holmes' earnestness won me over a bit, and Artie Lang's helpful nice guy act, while still being a realist won me over even more. But the comedy doesn't ring

Whaaa? No way!

Who the hell falls for putative murderer Steven Pasquale when you've got Dulé Hill to ride around in elevators with? (Actually Katherine Heigl is a very fair answer to this question. I would also accept the other one from Grey's Anatomy).

I need to start working on my strategy to get Riz Ahmed to make out with me for the better part of 40 minutes.

Riz Ahmed is way hotter than those other dudes (not that there is anything wrong with them, Hanna garnering romantic interest, or being naked).

Restaurant wars is the perfect challenge to send home an asshole and keep mediocrity. If you're an asshole, in charge in some way, and lose, you leave. If you're a weak middle mouse, you probably stay unless you made something nearly inedible.

My favorite part was that her explanation that it was fresh enough was that "all of us smelled it many times".

While it is true that Sloane is obviously more awesome than Olivia, it isn't usually true that everything said during a breakup scene is reflective of true feelings, so while it is understandable that Sloane, there in the moment, might take it personally in the moment, it's a bit weird that reviewers and audience also

Have you seen this sho?

You are corrrect, Sir!

Since most AVers seem to be dudes, Planned Parenthood does not give out IUDs, they are inserted by a doctor (though I enjoyed the "open up" attempt by the Mick).
Also, even though her family is rich and likely well-insured, that doesn't necessarily mean the females under 18 can use those resources to get birth control

I'm hoping Eleanor makes Chidi fall from heaven and into my house.

OMG, I love this show now that I've read it is loosely based and created by Dr. Phil. Now I can laugh at it as a delusional parody, rather than just be bored by its procedural mishmash.

Katsuji's Beans are sour and funky!

While the overall voting and individual lists all seemed fairly in league with what I've experienced from TV this year, I'm quite surprised that, as far as I can see, everyone rated OJ: the fiction that bordered on parody better than OJ: a documentary that also did a good job of exploring race and class in America.

Funny, I didn't even notice this crowd was a switchup from "mixed company"—I just saw it as a venue for some very awkward introductions of Jared (who seems awesome).

They're great, but always make me nervous because they're usually filmed as though she's rapping in a public restroom—the classic sitcom setup for whoever you insulted coming out of the stall. Her co-workers deserve anything she comes up with, tho.

I think it's more of a Two Guys, A Girl, and A Pizza Shop situation.
