Next week on RIVERDALE: Archie becomes Mayor.

Cheryl gaslighting Josie is easily this season’s craziest and best plot twist, and I can’t believe the show has seemingly dropped it.

When she said “it wouldn’t matter” that it was self-defense (or mom-defense or whatever), I took that to mean because Chic is a sex worker from the wrong side of the tracks, so the justice system would lock him up anyway.

(Or, of course, because it wasn’t really self-defense and Alice knows it.)

what the fuck is so appealing about Hal Cooper that Alice would brake prostitution rule #1 over him?

Leia’s status as princess of Alderaan has nothing to do with her biological mother’s status as former queen of Naboo. Leia’s adopted mother Breha is Queen of Alderaan. Bail is Senator and Prince Consort. He handles Senate and Republic stuff. Breha handles the actual running of Alderaan.

This show makes me melancholy for Penny Dreadful

The idea has always been that Superman is super fast but still bound by some physical limitations. The Flash gets his power from the speed force, which exists outside of our universe and thus is not bound by any physical laws.

The best scene was when Aquaman was sitting on Diana’s lasso and just starts ranting emotionally about stuff.

i’ve now seen it twice and i have to say i mostly like it. if the MCU didn’t exist it would probably be in the very top of superhero movies, however the MCU does exist so it’s more like 17th best.

Cheryl is not in her right mind, but has surprisingly mad artistic skills!

Because she’s Cheryl. She’s not in her right mind.

I really loved the Betty-Veronica stuff in this episode—the relentless Betty refusing to accept (or even to pretend to accept) defeat/ being wrong even after the sheriff busted her for breaking into his home and suspecting him of being the Black Hood killer, Veronica sticking with her basically correct intuition that

Does anyone else imagine Bernthal responding to these questions while rubbing the top of his head?

Those Wolf of Wall Street anecdotes pretty much go in line with how I imagined the making of that movie was. Just everyone on their A-game.

This guys is amazing, he’s even starred in movies 18,000 years from now!

Personally I’m more disappointed by the Orville. I think MacFarlane has done a good job of sculpting a new galaxy, but something about it just isn’t gelling. Part of me thinks years from now we’ll discover MacFarlane was cgi all along. I’d wager the production budget is also a lot higher than Ghosted and therefore

I love it when a person (even a fictional character) reaction is real. Jane wasn’t written OOC. She grew up believing sex out of marriage was bad, so of course she’s going to be taken aback by the news. But she does accept by the end of the episode. Male Gaze not Male Gays! I like Lina and Jane’s friendship. Their

This one still stings. It wasn’t great but it definitely could have been, and I still watch that performance of Chandelier every once in a while because it’s great.

And yeah, if any other random show came along now that starred Karen Gillan and John Cho, I would automatically be on board all over again.

Lovely article! I absolutely and totally loved Selfie so much! I hate that the title of the show was so terrible that no one watched it and it got cancelled. It was such a charming show and like you mentioned in the article, the two leads were fantastic. I actually opened up a Hulu account 3 years ago to watch the

So sad about Selfie, but you’re right: everyone knows you should avoid dated references, especially in the title.
