It’s very very focused on natural beauty, like this episode, and relationships between people. Thematically similar I would say.
And she doesn’t have to do this if she doesn’t want to!
He’s trying so hard to escape that role, and I don’t know if he can :(
It really really was. Give us some other philosophy lessons in this giant limitless sandbox you’ve created! It got very very old seeing what new flavor of awful they could make the characters. I’m reminded of the character who was the awful sleaze-hack Narrative guy (who, to their credit did become less awful…
Hell, it’d be more interesting if it didn’t focus entirely on *negative philosophical concepts. It’s like a story from a college student who just found Nietzsche. The pessimism was a big turn-off; when every character was a varying level of shit, it made it hard to care or distinguish them
That name, Nekrokosm, is so fucking metal lol
I loved his letter where he said he’s doing exactly what Moore did; take a bunch of dusty old superheroes and putting an irreverent and bold new spin on them. He argued it was the most reverent way possible to approach an adaptation; by harnessing the original spirit of Alan Moore in saying “fuck Alan Moore” lmao
I *am always disappointed how the massive ramifications of technologically altering your body are never meaningfully displayed in the actual gameplay of games. Deus Ex and Cyberpunk haven’t touched what could be a fascinating way for games specifically to tackle that issue
Mother’s Basement on Youtube made a genius deduction about the use of that song. Notice how they don’t say “burn this city” in the anime version? Because there’s no burning Night City (see capitalism) down. It’s more focused on the “fire” inside that’s burning them alive.
It’s up to you how to approach a lot of encounters, and they give you the flexibility to play sneaky, loud, or somewhere in between. There are some videos of people who have *mastered the combat and it’s a sight to behold. They definitely give you plenty of toys to play with!
I think The Witcher 3 did a better job at balancing that narrative drive with exploration. Yeah I finished the game and came back to my old save and I still have a massive amount of side quests, cuz I was driven to see the main story through.
Finally a fellow nuanced-taker haver lol
The stuff with Johnny and his past and that whole heist sequence was fucking phenomenal. I don’t think the game ever actually got past that peak (although my ending actually hit pretty hard). I do like how it shifted gears to be more meditative and existential after the heist. I do think that on paper, 2077 actually…
Yeah I think their only market for cards this price are rich enthusiasts and streamers. Everyone else who lives in the real world would have to be borderline irresponsible to pay that much lol
One thing I thought about with the lady “chasing” Darius was eventually her chair would run out of power, and I’m surprised it lasted that long. But, considering this is Atlanta and normal rules don’t apply, perhaps the chair was powered by her spite?
Listed in bad should be its English subtitles; holy crap it’s like it was written by an algorithm.
You’d think they’d learn from Marvel and Call of Duty. Oversaturating your franchise is a great way to kill it
Can I just say it’s massively premature to say Forge is Infinite’s “last hope.” They’ve given us a clear roadmap, where content drops will increase in rate starting next year. If *that* doesn’t happen, then that’s one thing, but for the moment it’s still fun as hell and not hard to find a match so I’m ignoring all the…
It’s very fun to play, and if my only complaint is that I want more of it, that’s not a bad thing imo. Lots of complaints coming from those who have done nothing but play it since launch; of course they’re going to get burned out. But yeah I ignore the Halo community since they’re insufferable atm
