*Godwyn was the first god killed that she’s trying to resurrect. But with names like Godfrey, Godefroy, Godrick, Godwyn, and Gideon, I don’t blame you lol

I’ve read it but it was at least 10 years ago so I’m fine/oblivious to most changes to the source material

The trailer did *not win me over. Literally all the jokes felt forced to me

You’d think we’d realize how dangerous it was after Trump, but nope, we can’t quit watching the trainwrecks.

I do like how this new Top Gun is more about him realizing it’s okay to let go of the spotlight

I do think it’s an important distinction. Sequels are sequels, legacyquels have Something To Say about the passing of time, and, in the case of films like Maverick and Blade Runner 2049, I find that pretty interesting. Too many movies with old stars try to recapture exactly what they had in their youth without

I was insulted The Algorithm thought I would be in the slightest bit interested in this show by showing me the trailer lol

I like him in Hell on Wheels, and kind of wish he wasn’t in Star Trek or the Inhumans lol

Yeah it’s likely due to Hader’s directing role

I was gonna say the face-to-face with Jim Moss and Gene. Holy hell was that intense.

I’m glad Barry got what he deserved, but, from a storytelling standpoint, I’m also glad he finally made an actual choice, with pinning Sally’s actions on him. He’s been pretty passive, either reacting to situations, or acting out of self-preservation, so we never got to see what meaningful choices he would actually

I was gonna say, that’s likely a tech demo problem, but knowing 3D Sonic, it’ll be there at launch

I find it helps to completely ignore this shit and not have an opinion on it until a verdict is reached. And then ignore it some more.

Intentional cinematography like that is very underrated

He’s the guy who could solve everyone’s problems in this show, if they just *listened* to him lmao

There’s an element of anticipation I’m experiencing with this show I don’t often get. I really look forward to how absurdly hilarious they can make these scenarios. It’s like a comedic Breaking Bad.

That’s a good way to put it. This show is like a real-world, darker Simpsons.

Now that you mention it, the timeline *is very wonky this season. I think it definitely works though, because so much of the show is already so surreal/absurd. You could say it reflects Barry’s fractured mind at this point. Stuff just *happens* to him, without any idea as to exactly when.

Why didn’t Hank immediately take him up on his offer? It can’t be any more disastrous than sleeping with the head of a rival crime family.

I mean I can kind of appreciate the dedication it took to push through making such an obviously not-market-friendly movie.
