This show drags you slowly through pain, giving you enough time to admire the details. I feel like every criticism I read is invalid because it boils down to people expecting something, and I just don’t think they are entitled to those rules. The show is a beautiful (and miserable) journey through some fucked up

“friend”.

I was in the Navy back in the 80's. I got into a little trouble and was thrown in the brig and sentenced to 3 days “bread and water”. I don’t know if they’ve changed much since then, but military jails or prisons were know for being draconian. But I guess the same could be said for any penal system.

Yeah, my parents have photos of me aged 2 1/2 hiding my private parts while naked at the lake - my mother thought my “prudish” discomfort was funny. I used to want to have them removed from the family photo albums, but now I think: let people see what my parents are like.

I grew up with shitty, narcissistic parents who would publicly show photos like that and laugh when I told them how embarrassing it was. Shame is a really powerful tool that easily controls children.

I have no problem with this.

To be clear, you’ve repeatedly deflected and made ad populum arguments (which are fallacious) in order to avoid taking responsibility or admitting error.

I remember that Paul Giamatti played “Pig Vomit” and to this very day, in my mind, he remains Pig Vomit.

Everything I’ve ever seen and read said she dropped him, and he was devastated, but accepted it wasn’t going to work out.

I get it Howard stern may not be for everyone but I certainly don’t think he is some big jerk asshole . He has worked with the same crew for years and is loyal to his coworkers like Robin , Gary and Fred etc . Sometimes marriages fall apart and he as far as I know has not treated his ex wife or children badly . Also

He’s been a great ally to the LGBT community (he has some issues talking about trans people but is supportive of their journey) and since going to satellite he’s actually more TV-14 or PG-13 than R or X rated now.

Who is broadcasting history (all platforms) has had the same staff for decades. Fred has been with him since the late 70's and Robin since the early 80's and Gary since the mid 80's. Please do you research before posting about someone you’ve never met.

I know a lot about Howard Stern, and the women he’s dated, and the woman he is now married to (because I’m a long time fan and his actual shtick is being very honest about himself and his life, and yes, he has gotten much less mean thanothing he used to be, and frequently talks about this and how he’s embarrassed by

He’s not the same from 20 years ago. Listen to any of his celebrity interviews from the last few years. He's the best interviewer this side of Anderson Cooper.

Good job Clover Hope! Way to stay on top of current events! This story has only been showing up in my Apple News for a week and a half.

Welp, I’d be moving.

“Yeah, I can’t imagine a male journalist in that position doing the same. I feel like they’d feel like they were entitled to it so why give it up.”

Could you imagine Ms. Couric doing it before you heard about it today?

My husband works in state government. A couple of months ago, he was told budget cuts meant he’d have to cut 500 jobs from their department. For a couple of weeks, he busted his ass to try to find a way to save them, and he finally was able to do it. He found enough in the budget to keep their sector open for another

Truman? Is that you? Are you defending yourself from the beyond?
