It definitely seems to be playing it safe. I get that right now it’s easy to go with the feeling these folks deserve to be completely broken down as a form of retribution to what they did to others but I think that would ultimately cause more harm than good in the long term.
I know it’s kind of off topic these days, but I’m going to talk about his work. You should watch his stand up on Netflix, Too Real, it’s really great.
You dont need to “empathize” with women or try to be a woman and look at the world through a womans eyes to know that its not appropriate to pull out your dick and make employees watch you yank it.
I haven’t heard one story about the road that’s humanizing rather than de-humanizing. You start with the toxic mental stew that would be your average 80/90s stand up comedian and then have their worst impulses enabled for decades. For instance, I heard comics I would have thought progressive back up Daniel Tosh and…
“When you have man brain or are not capable of empathizing properly with women ... to find that empathy, it requires some sort of vigilance”
I dunno, how about don’t corner women and show them your dick. pretty easy imho
Now, THAT will make Keurig sit up and take notice. Smash a $100+ appliance that you’ve already paid for and Keurig has already made their money on. Bravo, true patriots!!
Actually, what we’re witnessing here with Moore is interesting. His supporters (which ultimately includes anyone who doesn’t condemn him, at this point) looked deep inside themselves, thought about the world in which they want to live, what legacy they could leave behind for future generations, etc. Took a deep…
Why is pedophilia the bridge too far for GOPers in regard to Moore? He’s already said gay people may not have a right to live, said 9/11 was God punishing, and pushed for a theocracy, so anyone with a moral center would have ditched him long ago
And don’t forget that Justice League had some pinch hit writing from former “male feminist” Joss Whedon, whom we now know is also a womanizing gaslighting scumbag. It is not a good time for women in DC fandom.
They let Frank “Every Woman is a Prostitute” Miller into the building to write DKR3 even after he wrote the incredibly islamaphobic Holy Terror so it doesn’t suprise me that DC would allow a walking PR nightmare remain employed.
If you forced your finger into somebody’s mouth, everyone would agree that was assault. So why is it forcing your tongue into someone’s mouth is minimized as harassment, instead of the obvious, textbook sexual assault it clearly is? They didn’t acuse him of harassment, they accused him of assault.
This has been pretty openly discussed for years. Hopefully now something will be done about it.
An elderly Jewish woman wins the state lottery, $100 million. And during her press conference, she says she intends to give most of it away. “$40 million to B’nai B’rith, $30 million to Hadassah, and $10 million to the Nazi party in Germany.” The reporters can’t believe what they just heard. One asks, “Did you say…
I could have forgiven him if the joke was funny. It was not.
Yeah, I have to say, that monologue was terrible. Not a single joke, hell not even a moving picture, just the text “The uploader has not made this video available in your country.” I mean, can we even call that a monologue, then? Larry David definitely dropped the ball here.
I vote he be pushed in front of a fast-moving train.
Not sure what to do about his character.
Don’t be so sure. He’s pissed a lot of people off.
Republican tax plan, anyone?
