I think you’ve gotten used to “modern” fight scenes, which involve two people hugging each other while the camera shakes around. Then you cut it into seventy five shots that are no more than 1.5 seconds each.

When he eventually published a sequel to the book in 2013, Doctor Sleep, he went out of his way to ignore every plot change that Kubrick had made, restoring it to some very particular version of “pure”.
I feel like I should love the Shining. It’s got so many things I like: great visuals, slow burn horror, Stephen King, Stanley Kubrick. I keep rewatching it every few years like I’m trying to see what everyone sees in it. But I’m always kinda bored, and I hate Jack Nicholson in it. He is DEVOURING the scenery, and in a…
He could count on having an empty seat next to him on any team flight, due to his ritual of watching hardcore pornography on his portable DVD player, according to those sources.
Yeah, especially when the justice system is so fair and equitable and does such a great job convicting rapists! I certainly can’t understand why anyone would get discouraged and accept a settlement when... 1% of rapists are convicted!
I can’t believe nothing sticks to this guy. He’s been accused of so many things and he just keeps on going. I mean I can believe it... but I don’t want to.
One of my co-workers was walking down a San Francisco street when she tripped and nearly fell into a row of motorcycles. In that weird time slowing thing that happens in crisis moments, imagining the wave of tumbling bikes as she fell, an arm reached in and caught her while the other hand grabbed the first bike.
Yup. It’s like her side-gig I think because her ex-boyfriend before Bradley Cooper is one Cristiano Ronaldo...
Isn’t he gay, and this was a contract thing?
To me that was the biggest dissapointment, seeing Scorbunny’s double kick only showing a print of a foot while it stays in place. The graphics I can deal with, but given the new hardware and now limitations of pokemon...at least make the battles more interesting by making the physical attacks actually be physical.
I’ve played this so enough times I probably can’t realistically remember the effort needed to beat it. The last time I played it, I beat it in two days, but let’s say my estimates are off by a degree of 2, which to be fair they probably are. howlongtobeat.com has LA at 16 hours to complete the DX version. I EASILY put…
She’s had 30 years to get her story and lies straight but instead she decides to go with full on righteous indignation over being called out for her prosecutorial misconduct. She now says she agrees that the rape convictions should have been overturned but early said that Reyes was the sixth attacker and stayed after…
It should also be noted, that by railroading these five young men into confessing to a crime they didn’t commit, the real attacker, Matais Reyes (who had attacked a woman in similar fashion two nights before the Central Park Jogger, an attack where they were able to NAME him as a suspect because of stitches on his chin…
Eight hours!? We’re you a super baby? Some stuff in that game is so cryptic it’s insane. The guy playing in the video made a b-line for all the important stuff, but the first time through you had to back track a lot and learn what the objective was. It’ll be a lot more than eight hours for a first time player.
They better put that bug from the original back in where if you bring up the map or menu (I forget) as soon as you transfer over to a new map tile you warp across the map to the other side. So fun back then, though I broke my saves more than once doing that.
8 hours? I never finished the damn game when I got it back in 96. And I spent much more than 8 hours trying.
This soundtrack is going to be amazing. Tal Tal Heights fully orchestrated already made me so happy.
As a kid, this game was one I just spent forever with. It was my first Zelda game, it was the first game I played where I felt like I could really explore, and I didn’t have any form of guides to help me with. But upon replaying it, wow did it go by fast. I’m still going to buy this regardless of price, because I’m…
