it just didn’t click for me. and I really hate plots that depend on characters acting incredibly stupid. there were definitely things I liked (loved the spider-brofest, loved jamie foxx and molina and dafoe chewing the scenery)

I guess my retort would be that the Realms has had so little content published in 5e that it would be easy to drop a new setting onto Toril. I mean, players using this new supplement could be making that exact choice with the settings provided.

I’m excited to see what comes out of this project but it’s a little strange for me, as a black gamer, to see how WOTC actively approaches hiring more diverse designers and publishing more diverse materials. It feels like the prompt is “make a wakanda for the culture you come from” and it feels like...paternalizing?

I was not really a fan of this movie but boy did I love seeing Garfield back in the suit. His was my favorite part of the movie by far.

I could’ve tolerated another Avengers vs X-men event. But throwing the Eternals into it? It’s really only the strength of the creative that’s holding this together

according to a buddy of mine who did some comic reporting around the time, they were gonna go even further: a planned result of the whole “terrigen mists killing mutants” was gonna be the x-men leaving with mutant kind to space to find a new world

what’s even dumber and sadder is that to this day no one at marvel will actively admit they tried to downplay the x-men even though everyone knows it! they let the worst writers on those titles and marvel merch pushed out (even for big anniversaries) was just devoid of x-characters

I like it. Looks fresh, tone seems about right, and it’s great to see this character with a power set that thematically links her a bit more to Captain Marvel.

One of the biggest culture shocks I’ve ever had was travelling to Guatemala and seeing mothers openly breastfeed EVERYWHERE. At restaurants. While riding on the back of motorcycles. Walking down the street. By the end of the trip I started to realize we americans are the weird ones about breastfeeding.

Loved (and hated) the show but I’m 100% fine this. Stiles often sucked the air out of the room due to his character’s popularity and it might be nice to see Scott actually get to be the main character

Man, you ever have one of those moments when you realize people are much bigger fans about something super nerdy than you are? Seeing the reaction to these ships on twitter was that for me. I get why it would be exciting for the people who designed them but it’s kind of baffling why most fans would care.

This is my first Soulslike game and I have absolutely no interest in getting invaded (that guy with the bleed dagger in the river still keeps kicking my ass.) Would love to see more messages from people but that’s a trade-off I’m willing to make.
