Less of a relvant comment for this article but - do the people in charge at G/O realize that they’ve done *something* in the last few weeks that has totally broken the ability to comment on slide show articles?

Yep. I’m a big fan of the uglies brand and the Utz cooked in lard.
You know what other fancy food potato chips go great with? Lobster.
why the hell are people always mentioning voting rights when the awkwafina thing is brought up recently? I’ve seen it here, on AV club and all over twitter. Feels like her PR team dropped some bots.
but that’s the thing: this criticism is all about jockeying for highly visible jobs.
cause the people in these comments don’t really get it. they understand that no black actor could ever have the career she’s had if their entire act was say, doing a bad chinese accent (ala Uncle Roger)
show me the contingent of american voters ready to back voting rights restrictions in defense of awkwafina
I love a video explainer but almost two and a half hours? That’s basically a documentary on why NFTs suck. Already agree with that so I’m not sure this is for me.
Hot take here but I cannot be the only person uncomfortable at the thought of Kim Jenner farming her daughters out to famous black men so she’s got a brood of little mixed race children to turn into the family’s next generation of influencers, right? There’s always been something very dark sided about the kardasians…
I think what’s so depressing about this is that I don’t think she would’ve made her initial statements if she didn’t believe that *something* could change for the better - and it just seems that everything has gotten worse for her.
I would rather read a longform article about this than watch a video
I’m about 40 in, up to the 3rd area, and I won’t lie: When I got access to the second area I kept thinking “wait, already? there’s still so much more to see”
I’ve honestly been waiting for someone else to mention that bizarre colonial overtones of this narrative.
Kanto has Pokemon at the time of this game, it’s mentioned in dialog that there are a few people in Kanto who are training pokemon
the small number of battles is completely confusing to me - feels entirely like dev laziness. would’ve made perfect sense for members of the survey corps to want to test themselves in battle against each other
I’ve been telling my wife that what makes me the most upset about this game is that absolutely nothing good about it will carry over to the next game
one of the most part fun parts of this game has been seeing a new pokemon and then waiting to see how it will react to me. never expected paras and geodude to be so aggressive
I wish I could push back on this but I tried to get my wife into She-Hulk with the Dan Slott run and accidentally handed her the first issue of his second volume rather than the first.
I’m definitely on the fence about prison abolition as a short term goal but I’m on the board for getting rid of the death penalty. It really does not feel like it solves any problems.
From the AP article about the pizza hut commercial:
