I think what’s so depressing about this is that I don’t think she would’ve made her initial statements if she didn’t believe that *something* could change for the better - and it just seems that everything has gotten worse for her.

the small number of battles is completely confusing to me - feels entirely like dev laziness. would’ve made perfect sense for members of the survey corps to want to test themselves in battle against each other

I’ve been telling my wife that what makes me the most upset about this game is that absolutely nothing good about it will carry over to the next game

one of the most part fun parts of this game has been seeing a new pokemon and then waiting to see how it will react to me. never expected paras and geodude to be so aggressive

I wish I could push back on this but I tried to get my wife into She-Hulk with the Dan Slott run and accidentally handed her the first issue of his second volume rather than the first.

I’m definitely on the fence about prison abolition as a short term goal but I’m on the board for getting rid of the death penalty. It really does not feel like it solves any problems.

Way back in the day I binged the first 400 or so chapters of One Piece back when everyone was raving about it. Loved the art and the character designs but I did not get the appeal. There was just too much other good stuff out at the time to read (although sticking with Naruto didn’t end up being the best choice…

Would highly reccomend Jong Ka Jib as well. It’s in the same part of town as MUTA, but a more cozy vibe with a focus on tofu stews.

I mean, good on this guy for realizing a carb heavy diet might not be the best for him. But there’s definitely a reason our brains grew after we started cooking meat.

This is where I essentially fall after all the labor issues are laid out. There’s tons of food that will just never deliver well (burgers, fries, any seafood, most fried food that isn’t chicken)

I’m always happy to listen to and watch the k-pop videos that play at my favorite kbbq place (if you’re ever in philly, check out MUTA. the chicken and fries basket kicks ass) but I cannot imagine regularly listening to it.
