I want to give Luke the benefit of the doubt and say he’s not going all super dogmatic on Grogu here just to be a dick - I think what really gives away what Luke is doing is explained when he compares Grogu’s life span to that of Din’s. Grogu could spend the rest of Mando’s life with him - and by the time that period

Ehhhh.

Would highly reccomend Jong Ka Jib as well. It’s in the same part of town as MUTA, but a more cozy vibe with a focus on tofu stews.

I mean, good on this guy for realizing a carb heavy diet might not be the best for him. But there’s definitely a reason our brains grew after we started cooking meat.

This is where I essentially fall after all the labor issues are laid out. There’s tons of food that will just never deliver well (burgers, fries, any seafood, most fried food that isn’t chicken)

I’m always happy to listen to and watch the k-pop videos that play at my favorite kbbq place (if you’re ever in philly, check out MUTA. the chicken and fries basket kicks ass) but I cannot imagine regularly listening to it.

the fact that rent doesn’t factor into mortgage calculations infuriates me. I wasn’t able to be on the mortgage application for the house my wife and I bought - because of my student loan debt - meanwhile I’ve never missed a rent payment in years.

Bingo. This is 100% about trying to pump some juice into the Eternals and it’s not going to work

Echo being the Phoenix is such a *bafflingly* move right as she’s introduced in Hawkeye and they’re prepping her own spin-off. I know they generally don’t care if MCU fans read comics but yeesh, what a thing to saddle a character with right as she’s about to hit peak visibility

I think the Eternals film is the most visually interesting MCU movie - and probably one of the few times in recent years people fighting CGI whatsits didn’t look terrible. But it didn’t really do anything for me beyond that

I’m not sure why everyone thinks introducing mutants would be super complicated. Would be as simple as mutants have always been around (so you can have your Xaviers, Magnetos, Wolverine, Apocalypses, etc) but that post-Snap/Blip x-genes are activating more. voila.

Olivia Munn has always been beautiful but holy shit - I don’t think I’ve ever seen photos of her as stunning of her as those instagram shots. I’m totally smitten.

I’ve been enjoying it. I was kind of underwhelmed initially by “Monster Hunter with a Pokemon skin” (and I think the crafting and boss battles are the weakest parts aped from that formula - and battling/capturing pokemon could be more dynamic) but the game finally clicked for me when I just vibed to the sun rising in

yeah there’s been some rumors (from less than reputable sites mind you) that they’ve been trying to lure avery brooks back for a sisko project. the most fleshed rumor was that he was only interested if the project could be about race

not sure if you all are aware but the comments sections on these slideshows is totally broken, not really possible to see other folks replies and participate in conversation - at least for me.

oh I love lower decks. I’m just grating at Picard’s next season and the bizarre Sisko rumors I keep seeing.

this is the first good star trek idea any has proposed in a while. would be a really nice way to explore some of our favorite characters while their actors are still with us too.

Where did this she-hulk image even come from???? haven’t seen any new set photo drops

I know this probably spits in the face of established Trek lore and canon but my headcanon has always been that every trip into the Mirror Universe is merely a trip into a mirror universe. One where the characters of the series we’re watching inexplicably exist and the established history of the Mirror-verse in Trek

Maybe it’s just in my head but any time I’ve ever gotten shrimp with the vein while at a restaurant (or been too lazy to clean them myself) I’ve always felt like I could just taste how off it us.
