I’m actually pretty surprised they didn’t find black director to helm this film. Not that I personally believe every film needs to be spearheaded by creative teams who hit certain check boxes, but that has kind of been how Marvel has staffed their slate of “diverse” (I do not like that descriptor) films. The rumor

I honestly think that tweet scouring reveals much more about the people doing it than whatever they think it says about their target.

if you want to get riled up read Batman: Devil’s Advocate.

I’ve never accepted any version of the Joker that can fight. I can accept him being super tricksy, having tons of gadgets, even just being super hard to land a punch on....but not that he could actually fight

That doesn’t feel accurate at all. The Dark Knight showed that even though the Joker could corrupt one person, he couldn’t corrupt Gotham (as shown by the citizens on the boats not blowing each other up)

you could tell they weren’t really confident in fleets (or spaces for that matter) when they didn’t roll them out to desktop users

I think I watch Rush Hour once a year and it still holds up

On the one hand I would love for this story to be set in the prime timeline - give us a new ship and crew! Maybe it’s a galaxy class at the end of its service life! I really don’t accept that you have to have the TV characters on film to bring in an audience if the story is good and it looks interesting

I would love to know more about this shady world of auctions

nah less than $200 for sure

I was still trying to understand the Mario 64 sale but this is wild to me. I love Skyrim, still have the copy I got for the 360 (and I own it on every console I’ve bought since) but paying $600 for a copy sealed in plastic makes no sense

the biggest thing that bothered me about the changes to taskmaster were the way their abilities were changed. Taskmaster has always been a super unique villain and this just made them more like Prometheus from DC comics.

Imagine how good this movie would have been if it wasn’t weighed down by the immense bloat and pressure of two Avengers movies? Human trafficking? Rape? Forced hysterectomy? Who cares, Thanos is collecting them stones!

Having only recently joined team avatar myself...I’m kind of surprised netflix is what made the show more popular? I’ve had folks telling me to watch it for YEARS and the fandom always seemed to be incredibly large AND vocal.

I think every single criticism I’ve seen if Black Widow is basically correct and felt a lot of it while watching the movie, but the total package worked. If Marvel movies were burgers, Captain Marvel would’ve been a McDonalds dollar menu burger and Black Widow would’ve been a Five Guys burger.

I really enjoyed Black Widow. I’m usually pretty harsh in my assessment of these marvel movies but I don’t think theres much about this one I would change. I wish the 3rd act CGI looked as good as the second act CGI but otherwise I’m not mad at the movie at all

I really wish they had cast him for this

these popcorn flavors sound awful.

I was watching Fast 7 last night and had this same thought. He really should be a leading man

If they didn’t fix joycon drift they can miss me
