it is an incorrect theory that needlessly complicates the simplest time travel film ever released

it’s not doctor who, he didn’t go the long way around

“the future becomes your past”

its not a closed loop, this isn’t doctor who

this isn’t what happened tho and the movie stops itself multiple times to explain it

AC is wrong.

your take is literally what happened in the movie. this is the ending of the film. its not your interpretation. it is what was shown on screen to millions!

Except this isn’t doctor who or back to the future. The movie stops and breaks itself down multiple times

basically people think that cap not showing up on the platform means that he lived out his whole life, chilling in the background of the MCU

this makes a lot of sense

can’t help but thinking of the folks who got un-snapped into undersea plane wreckages

I love scarjo but she’s never put strong performances in these marvel movies.

this is a scene that would’ve been worth filming

“If paradox wasn’t a problem, why bring everyone back after 5 years, why not bring them back to a few minutes after they were dusted?”

Per the ancient one - it’s not that creating divergent timelines is bad, it’s that creating divergent timelines that now lack infinity stones (essential components to existence!) causes those timelines to be unstable and veer towards chaos

how’d she get off the planet

the movie spent plenty of time explaining why that would not be the case! Nothing in the past affects the present of the film, the 2014 and onwards without Thanos is an alternate timeline.

was she?

I assumed she was just running around as well but....how exactly would she even have gotten off earth? All of Thanos’ tech seemingly got dusted with him.

compared to the audience reactions in the theatres I saw spider-verse and captain marvel in, it really didn’t seem like anyone noticed it at all
