that movie was designed for dads. My dad (who’s been recovering from a stroke since october) has been watching a lot of random shit on my netflix account (including a lot of anime? which is wild to me) loved this damn movie. He watched it twice in one weekend when it came out

the opening sequence to that movie brings me to tears every time I watch it: the idea that humanity could overcome it’s bullshit to build something better, to unite...and then extend that hand to strangers from other worlds. Shit I’m crying thinking about it right now.

the thing that makes me maddest about that movie is how much more sense the rumored plot made than the one we got: that waller assembled a squad to extract the joker from arkham so she could get intel on Batman.

The answer would be game night if I didn’t watch Star Trek: Generations a few weeks ago. What a huge piece of shit (aside from the amazing set design and brent spiner’s performance)
