Someone should do an Avengers parody where they fail to stop some catastrophic event because they’re still on their flight there, frantically checking the time and refreshing the news updates.

Watching these shows, I keep thinking about how Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan were cast like a decade ago, and if Marvel had bigger plans and thus had to know if they could actually act, or if they kinda just lucked into Mackie being able to carry a more serious role.
It is just sort of weird to have the protagonist in an MCU be an actual adult. We’ve had a long line of man-children (looking at you, Tony), the rich and sheltered, occasional out-and-out trauma victims, and one actual child. Even T’Challa was very naïve at the start of his movie. From the his first minutes on screen…
Yes! It’s exactly the same with Amy Schumer (in fact I defended her a few days ago in another “ughhh, who thinks she’s funny?” thread). Imagine having the energy to hate someone because their comedy doesn’t work for you.
A killing assassin? I guess that’s to differentiate from someone like me, who’s a cuddle assassin.
Julia Louis Dreyfus is a national treasure. Also, I hope we get more Zemo. If not in this show then in another show or movie.
The pacing of this was a big shift from the previous so it could’ve been due to the shutdown; though personally, I liked that they went back smaller and slower-paced before the grand finale. But then, I could watch Sam and Bucky hanging out on the bayou trading quips all day and it would be more than enough for me.
That warehouse to start the episode was fantastic with so many great moments. Especially the shot of the unmasked Walker with his blue eyes and blond hair looking crazed and screaming ‘I am Captain America’ was such a striking image. The way he took both Sam and Bucky also established him as that big threat to build…
How about banning radio ads that use sirens. That really pisses me off.
Hey Tom, you should have gotten a VW GTI! They install the leaky sunroof direct at the factory, no need for aftermarket modifications.
“back when I was learning to program in BASIC”
Never thought I'd say this, but I'm with the insurance company on this one.
KINJA ALREADY DOES THAT PRETTY WELL ON ITS OWN THOUGH!1!
Yeah. It’s not even like the Kardashians. I don’t think they deserve as much hate as they get either, but at least you could argue that they have had a negative influence on the culture to some extent. What has Chrissy Teigen done to harm anyone? She’s a blandly liberal celebrity who seems to be a genuinely friendly pe…
The amount of outright hatred she inspires is super disturbing. Even here (why, on this very site!), people will RACE to share that they don’t like her, don’t find her interesting, just can’t understand for the liiiife of them what people see in her, and it’s like ... ok? I wish they’d teach a course in high school on…
IT’S COMMENTS LIKE THIS THAT ARE MAKING ME LEAVE KINJA FOREVER!!!
True. I do dislike the whole performative “I’m leaving this app” or “I’m culling my followers” thing people do. Just do it if you’re going to do it. We don’t need an announcement.
So a $500 new car for 3 years. Best lease I’ve ever seen
The insurance company sued the radio installer.
Chrissy Teigen is such a harmless person. There’s no need at all for the vitriol she inspires. I’ve seen no evidence that she’s rubbing her wealth in anyone’s face. She’s just tweeting things about her life that she finds interesting and some of those things are lavish because she happens to be very wealthy. I see…
