Kinda scratching my head at the idea of the New Jedi Order series having several “not-so-beloved” storylines. That series overall was amazing and I heard very little negativity over it other than the Dark Nest Trilogy spinoff and Chewbacca’s death.

Not at all fond of Sarkeesian’s work, both on levels of honesty (her Hitman analysis being a particularly notable example) and substance. That said, exploring multiple character possibilities is always a good thing. Lot of iconic characters were born from that process, this is just adding a new dimension to it.

Nah man. This’d be like Return of the Jedi having been titled “Death of the Emperor” or “Fall of the Empire”. WAY too on-the-nose. “The Empire Strikes Back” at least leaves things ambiguous.

The especially frustrating part is, we coulda had this.

I wouldn't call that excellent either. Lot of frankly stupid choices were made in making that series. Like Karai actually being Splinter's daughter.

I'm just gonna stick to the comics.

He makes a Wu Tang reference. And he does do that from time to time.

"I'm a snappin' turtle, foo'!"

Are you seriously nitpicking a typo to try to declare bias?

I can't stand these 7 foot tall Shreks and the way they just smash through everything. I just... can't.

The problem there is that they even meant it as a joke after April explicitly said something about it. It was somewhat crude, but even she knew they were joking and they were all familiar with each other.

Well it's certainly not safe from his visual schtick.

But April's roots aren't as a reporter. She was a lab assistant.

If by "Spot-on Turtles Action" you mean using super strength to smash through armored hummers, being bulletproof, flipping trucks, flying through the rear window of an SUV and smashing people around in it while hooting at the top of your lungs as your brother pulls his arm out of the roof he just punched through, rips

The Schwing from the third movie everyone hated?

How about the fact that the extent of Mikey's attraction to April before was limited to a half-hearted "Can we keep her?" as opposed to publicly declaring she's given him an erection?

Let's also not forget Casey was 1.) an actual human adult male and 2.) portrayed as a

This would be valid were it not so disingenuous and discounting of things explained right IN the film. Gwen and peter are together because Gwen is insistent that it's not her father's decision who she dates (which doesn't help Peter's guilt complex), Peter's dad his those Tokens so they wouldn't just be discarded or
