Why does Jalopnik always ignore that widening highways allows more cars to move on the highway? We could eliminate traffic by eliminating all transportation, but that’s just as dumb as saying widening roads doesn’t eliminate traffic. Roads are a necessity. Public transportation should be improved. America is sprawling

Here. I’ll help everyone out....because I love you

Obligatory*

The questions/discussion are fine, but just scraping the top answers and adding a few images to make a completely separate post with a godawful slideshow?  That’s gotta be the laziest shit on the planet.  Honestly I would not be surprised if the whole thing is automated.

Seems like a strong reaction to the idea of a compact Nissan pickup.

The White House tried to invite Tesla, but the emails to their public relations team kept getting bounced back.

I didn’t read a single damned word after the headline.

“Man whose parents have amassed just enough to retire at 65 without reducing middle class standard of living crushes their dreams in one fell swoop.”

The answer is still China.

I’m surprised GM hasn’t bothered giving us a new Express since the basic design has been around since the Clinton Administration.

If you do, prepare to have people day “I didn’t realize they made convertible Z cars”. They are a good car to hack up though, rust did some of the job and trusty British reliability roadkills it for you. I have seriously had parts break that I didn’t know could fail

Right now it's a non running mess but sitting in it is a supercharged Buick 3.8 with coilover suspension front and rear and a fully adjustible 3 link rear suspension.  My dad built widebody flairs for the 10 inch wide tires and right now I'm building the firewall.  It should be fun when it's done

When I worked at a motel a Corvette club stayed one night before going to thier next stop. I don’t think they had a show in town but that didn’t stop then from using every towel to wipe down thier cars.  I still would love a C5 for autocross/track days but it's more fun to troll the British car guys with my gutted MGB

Pay up to $2.4K extra per year for a car’s feature that doesn’t work as advertised...wow.

I... this sounds implausible.

$10k for an ugly car with 170k on the clock? c’mon, man!

I was once forced to take shelter from a tornado .under an overpass on the KS turnpike. Back then (before cellphone warnings), it was possible to get caught by surprise like that. I was driving a semi, lightly loaded, and the tornado was heading towards me from the side. Most of the 4-wheelers on the highway that day

You just say that because if you did own a TR7, you’d be walking anyway.

For $10,500? A Cavalier? I don’t care it it’s a convertible. Hell, I wouldn’t care if it also included a modest vacation package to the glorious sunkist beaches of Puerto Rico valued at $5,500, while Vanna White herself flips the final letters as I solve “My wife is leaving me because I bought a Cavalier for $10,500.”
