Yeah, this is kinda of my take on it too. I obviously feel badly for the families who lost loved ones, but Snapchat is not the problem. Snapchat wasn’t around when I was a reckless hooligan, but camera phones were, and there is definitely evidence somewhere of my going well above the posted limit.

Piggy-backing to mention the four sponsored posts/ads/whatever that showed up on my “latest” feed before any actual content.  Things are getting bad around here.

I’m not a MN resident (but a neighbor), and was out on my snowmobile this last season in -10° or so. Honestly, as long as you’re dressed for it, it’s not that bad.

Rockton is one town south of South Beloit, which is on the border.  Depending where they took that picture, those may be my fellow Wisconsinites (in which case, the lawn chair party would not surprise me).

As the owner of 2005 Xterra (same same, but different) with the manual trans and 4WD, I wish this was a realistic price for this thing, but this is CP all day long.

How big is the deck?  I have a little over a 1/2 acre with an annoying amount of elevation change.  Using a push mower takes almost two hours and is exhausting.  The rider gets it done in about half that.  I can’t imagine an electric mower that could keep up, but maybe I’m underestimating what’s available now.

8 year-old oil-burner with a beat up interior for $8.5k?  Nah.  I’ll pass.  Maybe with a clean interior, or for several grand less.

Why?  I ran into him at a car show.  He was literally standing by the bar, having a beer and talking cars with fans.  Seemed about as cool as they come.

MT is $60 per year, and they have a lot of content that I enjoy. For me, it’s totally worth the money, and I like to think supporting it helps keep Freiburger and Finnegan doing their thing.

Like so many of the previous installments, this looks terrible.  I will definitely pay to see it though.

I’m not trying to advocate for a nation-wide high speed rail system. I want reliable, cheap mass transit in my local metropolitan area. I want high speed rail between my metro and the nearest ones to me. I don’t think either is too much to ask for.

So don’t even bother?  How does that even begin to makes sense?  I’m not arguing the incompetency of government (regardless of administration), but ignoring something as important as mass transit is going to come back to bite us eventually.

I will never understand the Honda crowd and their pricing. This looks like a sub-$5k car to me, but I’m sure plenty of you will tell me I’m wrong because...reasons.

That was a more entertaining watch than I was expecting.

Yeah, but nobody is going to be cross-shopping this and the Wrangler.  I say that as someone that kinda likes both, but am the target for neither.

1st Gear:  Anyone from the other side of the aisle as me want to try to explain why even one of the things mentioned here is bad?  And you can’t play the “it’s too expensive” card.

Yeah, and you can usually get them in red too, which would look 100% less offensive.

Haha, winter is...worse. I got 14 and some change on a recent trip up north towing a snowmobile.  As for the manual trans -- I had to drive three states away to find it, and it was originally a Canadian truck.
