I’m no hipster, but I too disdain SUVs. Somebody hit a nerve.

I liked my ‘96 Maxima: nicely-appointed interior; satisfyingly engaging manual transmission; responsive and (relatively) powerful engine. In fact my current V6 ‘06 Accord is essentially the same car (with slightly updated electronics and more power.)

A Ford Falcon wearing a fancy hat.

Mr. Brown: This is the incorrect take. As with humans, the best looking automobiles have curves.

“Alexa, empty my savings account, draw down my 401(k) and hire a tech contractor to re-wire my whole damned house to incorporate all new appliances and controls so I can live “the Connected Life.” That way’ I’ll never have to push the garage door button again and Whole Foods will automatically deliver de-fatted sesame

I owned an early 80s 505STI back in the early 90s. I bought it used and foolishly. It was (or had been) nicely-appointed, and while struggling to pay my law school loans, it allowed me to enjoy leather seating, A/C, and a well-sorted 5 speed manual transmission. Why does this shit keep happening?

“Roundabouts” are what rotaries are mis-named in the UK. Here in the real world they are “rotaries.” and we drive around them counterclockwise (not “anti-clockwise” as they call it in the UK. What do the Brits have against clocks anyway? Oh wait; I know: their best days are behind them and the future has no meaning to

In the 50s, the “environment” was simply the existing barriers between now and what you needed or wanted to build.  You’re right, we know much more now, but we’re still far short of being able to justifiably disapprove about how prior generations abused our natural world.

Find a non text-based comments section. Yo.

I’ve not ridden one. I’m familiar with the Indian Scout but my impressions of the Bobber are from Mr. Brownell.

Me? I’ve ridden a 1st gen SV650S for 16 years.  Maybe it’s time to diversify?
