Conundrum: How can we maintain the viability of an industry which makes it’s money selling shitty, unhealthy food to an ever-increasingly unhealthy America (which drives up everybody’s healthcare costs) while paying its workers poverty wages (which makes them dependent on safety-net benefits to get by?)
