As long as they let you have a manual. Knowing Honda, I think that would be the case though. They seem pretty good about putting manual options where it counts.

Interesting take, I honestly hadn’t thought about this. As long as manufacturers keep adding smaller nameplates, I guess we’re good.

But in cases like the 3 series, where there’s really no modern version of the E36 (sedan, at least), I think that’s where the problem comes. If you want a sorta smallish, nimble sport

I think that’s actually a USDM Mitsubishi van! Honestly probably even more rare than a JDM import.

Don’t really get the appeal. I’m a VW fan but this doesn’t do anything for me. Maybe it’s just those color combos.

I’m impressed that something transparent can manage to be so ugly at the same time.

I sat on a Racer at the dealership a while back expecting it to be really uncomfortable but it was surprisingly good. Riding position isn’t too bad, seat was comfy. I’d rock it.

That’s the spirit!

Shaft-driven is a plus. I haven’t honestly heard terrible things about the V7 and it’s pretty comfy.

What’s it like being a living stereotype?

E-Golf, Bolt, Leaf, i3, 500e, Jag i-Pace, Hyundai Ioniq, and the multitude of plug-in hybrids on the market. There’s probably more I’m forgetting.

Speaking as someone who frankly doesn’t care that much, I would prefer that we just go back to talking about pop-out turn signals and how ugly the new Silverado is.

Amati vs AmaNti but yeah that thing was tragic. I feel like they’ll loop around and be cool when Litwood happens about 20 years from now though.

I had those BFGs on my GTI. Couldn’t stand the way they looked like off-road tires from the side but they were pretty good.

They’re still out there if you know where to look! lol

My aunt had them on her Plymouth Grand Voyager. They made it look even trashier.

Depends on the car. Those would look ridiculous on a lot of modern cars.

So buy a Subaru Outback, it probably handles better than this mess anyway and has the added benefit of all wheel drive.

I’d rather have $50 million and a house in the Hamptons, while we’re at it.

My take: This is stupid because it’s not good at BMW things anymore and it will never be good for 4x4 things.

2002-2006 Camrys had this too. At least, my dad’s 2003 did.
