Sorry, I meant the same price increase as has happened in Britain, not the US. Australians would have to deal with the exchange rate, import taxes and possibly the Luxury Car Tax if it ended up over the threshold, which combined would possibly almost double the price to get one here. The US situation is indeed a

I can’t get Focus ST and they can get Mustang, F150, Ranger and now they have Bronco

You can have one though. Just move to a country that is more free.

it’s pretty evident that about 45% of the country think that being a selfish twat is their entitlement

Common and safely done in the UK. Motorways fine, in London, fine.

When Canada starts looking like the United States, western civilization is over.

I love how he is all badass until he lets off the first shot then cowers.

Well the Queen Mary is not a cruise ship. So there’s that. She’s an ocean liner and there really is a world of difference between the two.

I’d guess that the hull of the Queen Mary is every bit as tough as that of a Battleship. This isn’t a cruise ship that plods along through the tranquil Caribbean - it’s an Ocean liner, designed to withstand the worst that the North Atlantic could throw at her at any time of year.

Ok. Slowly and clearly.

They have been calling them the Flu Trucks Klan up here.

Interesting that you show M&S (Marks and Spencer) foods in your lead image, which is some of the best in-store convenience food you will find anywhere. Not sub-par at all.

Spent 5 weeks over the summer in Cambridge, UK for undergrad living on a tight budget: hostel for my stay, walked everywhere, ate Sainsbury sandwiches.

My crowning achievement though, was filling up on a full English breakfast (eggs, sausage, bacon, beans, toast), granola, juice, tea, coffee, and yogurt every morning

Re the photo above. M&S (the UK’s Marks and Spencer) actually offer some decent ready-made meals and sandwiches worldwide. Cheap, sure, but then again, a normal restaurant meal in the UK is definitely not inexpensive. Even fast food chains there are overpriced. I often check out these ready-made meals in British

Union Pacific: lays off security and doesnt lock doors

It is way too easy to get your driver’s license in this country. We need laws that requires more skills behind the wheel and actually keep checking our driving skills well into old age. Just one day of driving around Florida will demonstrate the need for better driver training for new and older drivers.

The Up slots in well below the Golf - it’s two sizes down from it, with the Polo filling the gap.

All the gun nuts in this country act like we live in a 3rd world country yet scream it’s the greatest place on earth. I come from a military family and none of them wanted to carry a gun all the time.

I’ve been around firearms most of my life. I learned to shoot when I was 10 and later spent 20 years in the Navy, where I was an expert shot with both pistols and rifles. That said, I have never, ever felt the need to carry a weapon on me while going about my daily life.

So much this.  I’m a Texan, licensed gun owner and I don’t trust most people with guns.
