I mean for sure, fuck right off.

What a difference!

I’ve also got a soft spot for the other MG to use the Ford Modular V8, the XPower SV, a car that dared to ask “what if we made that Qvale DeTomaso, but ugly?"

I always thought the ZT 260 was pretty cool too, and it came as a wagon. Big, lazy British saloon with an American V8 stuffed inside? That’s cool.

Oh absolutely, they are and always were liars. I’m just not cool with media ignoring how this vehicle came about.

I still hate it.

If the reporting proves out, this wasn’t a deadly car chase due to a traffic violation.

Oh these are fun

To be fair, in Western Europe there tend to be wagon versions of hatchbacks. Sedans have all but died out in the 80s and 90s, except for Mercedes/Audi/BMW. And even there there seem to be more wagons than sedans.

In 2011, I was in Italy and saw the Fiat Abarth, instant love. Told my wife, “Why can’t we get this type of nice car in Quebec?” When I came back, I learned it was coming to Canada. In October 2011, I put a deposit to the Chrysler dealer for one. It was delivered in March 2012. Still have it.

Travelled to Iceland this year and kept yelling out “Jimney!”. My gf didn’t know what the hell I was talking about.

For some reason Ford brought this Focus Estate to the Detroit auto show in 2011. I saw these and Mondeo (Fusion) estates and liftbacks all over Ireland when I have visited.

Honorable mention to any of the “Reasonably Priced Cars”

When I went to France for business about 10 years ago, I geeked out over a Peugeot 1006 to the point where my colleagues laughed at me.

Tiny, lightweight and not enough horsepower to hurt the drivetrain is the true off roader here in the mountains of British Colombia. Big off roaders are laughed at as our tiny goat paths reject all but stuff like this and quads.

1000% disagree.

This one is huge. Even using the system we have in the U.S., then going to Mexico and filling out forms, it’s so so much more sensible going dd/mm/yyyy.

Article makes poor premises trying to support a even weaker conclusion.

The sales and install side is the important factor here. Stop the sale of loud cars and stop the install of equipment that makes them loud and that cuts down on a huge part of the problem. Regulators will be looking more at aftermarket installers than end-users, likely.

I know the Canada likes to pretend they use the metric system like everyone else so they don’t get made fun of but in reality they use a mix of it all and it’s even more confusing. Just pick a goddamn side already.
