The magic of the Antiques Roadshow was washed away for me when Michael Aspel was presenting. I did a few bits for the BBC many years ago and was present when they came to where I live. Michael spent nearly 50 minutes in every hour outside smoking. He’d come in, they’d talk to him for a few minutes, then he’d do a two

For those rust holes, get some roofing felt, heat up one side and stick it down. Nice temporary watertight patch you can peel off when you choose to.

Really sorry to hear that.

I think I’d have to stop at the turntable,.......................... maybe.

How do you arrest someone for resisting arrest!?

I love the Cadbury Dairymilk chocolate advert that used the same track.

Yep, still going. Sandwich/salad + drink + snack.

Yes, it went on for two series, I’m aware of, The Allegro 2 and 3.

Cheers mate.

Lol. I get that a lot too.

Lol. I even clean any hire cars we get and courtesy cars, even if we only have it for one day.

Four inches lower and with a larger boot space than a hatch.

A Ford Focus on larger stilts.

It’s not rude. ‘Got away with it’, they didn’t have to and they could of said no.

The European glasses wouldn’t be a full pint. They use metric and the standard measure is 500ml, and an imperial pint is around 568ml.

None ever had a problem with us asking for more beer and less head, I was there for nearly a year.

When I lived in Holland we’d pop down the local bars for a pint or two on our days off and they’d always pour their beers with a one inch head (even the little Amsterdammers), we’d look at the bar tender and say, ‘can you fill it up’. At first we’d always get, ‘but the foam is the best part’, to which we’d reply, ‘we
