I'm okay with doing it for someone else. An ex-colleague last month took her husband and four young daughters to Euro Disney in France, they needed some travel essentials (ie breathalyser, breakdown triangle, hi-vis vests, etc...) and I'm always concerned about safety and bought a comprehensive first aid kit, and

Clothing is the main issue. I buy stuff that lasts so it tends to be stuff around £40-50 (USD$60-65). I’ve Merrill trail shoes that are still in perfect condition that are 17 years old, a 5.11 shorts that are five years old, etc...

Here, it’s a border line thing in that the time directive says they can’t force you to work it, but you can volunteer to work it.

Yep, up in the far north of England, if you get to the Scottish (and English) border, just come back on yourself about four miles and that’s me.

Payday yesterday, which is also my only weekend off every four weeks.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

Christ, I work for a shitty company here in the U.K. and even they give you the night/s off if your doing a training session if they can’t work one into your shift pattern.

So true.

I’m not a fan of instant and prefer a good coffee.
