That just sounds awful.
That just sounds awful.
Good spot, my bad.
Would that be U.S. gallons or U.K. gallons?
Like RootandBranch, I thought you were a Yank.
In America a whiskey has to be aged no less than 12 months, however in the U.K. it has to be no less than 3 years.
In the U.K. you can buy your drink in litres or imperial pints, but the measure has to be the measure stated. If the drink is sold by the litre and you ask for a litre and don’t get 990ml, then that’s breaking the law.
Just noticed the date on the posting, doh. Why is it in the news feed!?
I will never forget this burn from Her Majesty on meeting Deputy First Minister Alec McGuinness (formerly of the IRA, who had tried to assassinate Her Majesty on a few occasions).
I dismissed the other four posts you made to me ranting (a couple I don’t even think were meant for me).
Ye’, I understand what you meant.
That can only be a good thing, drawing attention to the idiocy of the whole thing.
Someone else was saying it happens all the time regardless of race too.
I’m all for neighbourhood watch, but with that commonsense is needed.
It just seems a completely crazy thing to do and the fact it’s for totally crazy reasons (ie the woman who phoned police because her neighbour wouldn’t talk to her because she felt down) and police should be fining the callers for wasting police time.
It just seems the ‘........... while black, police called’ is happening either daily or weekly now.
In order of preference for a salad potato,
I live outside the U.S. looking in and I can’t get my head around all these ‘..................... while black’ calls to the police.
A person after my own heart.
