This may be one of the most pointless articles I have ever read, thanks for wasting my time

What a trashy article. You should be ashamed of yourself.

What is this click bait nonsense? I can’t believe Kotaku pays you for this trash.

That’s what I was thinking. I loved how the contestants were all (outwardly) good sports and talked about having fun and enjoying their matches with each other.

My only guess is that there’s an entire second half to this article that somehow didn’t get posted. If that isn’t the case, I completely agree with you.

The one male contestant whose girlfriend called the police in fear for her life - that's obviously horrifying. But it happened well after the show was already concluded and just waiting to air. The other is allegations of being a school bully, which Kim Da-young admitted to and apologized for. It's fair to call out

One contestant who was named (Kim Da-young) was said to be a school bully. She’s admitted to and apologized for past verbal abuse, while denying physical abuse. This was while she was in high school, mind. It’s fair to call out bad behaviour but we should also be able to recognize when a person has made themselves

What a pathetic attempt at framing a fine show.

If you get 100 people obsessed with having a perfect body and only 2 are nuts then thats honestly a pretty good ratio.

This article is less than useless. Here is the real headline: show had 100 contestants. Outside of show 2% of them have gotten into trouble.

Zero percent has to do with assault-on-show or any of the other implied crap that could be taken from this headline.

One of a hundred people committing an assault AFTER filming is an incredibly flimsy basis for an article.

I really liked this show. It’s a refreshing change to see contestants treating each other with respect and cheering each other on rather than the tired old ‘psyching out’ of your opponent that’s so prevalent.

Just to make sure I understand, the controversies are:

We now know that the contestants are just the same as normal people when it comes to the rate of domestic abuse. It’s almost like they’re a part of the population.

Sadly this sort of stuff isn’t suprising given the worlds that the contestants come from.

I’m not making any excuses for this jerkwad. But if this is the first time he’s done anything like this or at least had charges pressed. How is this Netflix’s fault? How are they supposed to know to exclude him? If these dudes didn’t have any type of record when they did their background checks or whatever. Then there

The title of this made me think contestants were accused of assault during filming or off camera but no, they are charged outside of the production. So in honesty the show has absolutely nothing to do with their charges except they once appeared on it. So just what is it that you are trying to insinuate here?

What on earth is this article? You say it’s steeped in assault allegations and then it turns out to be a throwaway line at the very end where it turns out two (2!%) of the (unnamed) contestants have allegations against them. Is that even higher than the average at all?

It has literally nothing to do with the show, or

Ellie staring at the Victoria’s Secret mannequins a little too long is SUCH a queer girl rite of passage, I couldn’t stop laughing. Even the apocalypse couldn’t stop it!

this episode is for the heart my sweetie. Ellie has known a real loss. loss of a future with Riley and a loss of a past childhood she was never given. Her vulnerability towards Joel feels much deeper.
