Willing to bet that, on average, the burgers don’t cost significantly less to make per unit than the majority of the upscale options. They just lack the ‘prestige’ that lets said upscale items be sold at the markup they are.

Yeah I honestly think people just picked up hotter alternatives during the shortage and are now judging based on being adapted to those.

I don’t find any truly notable difference between pre and post shortage HF. 

Is it that it got worse and/or less spicy or, during the shortage, people tried new brands that were better and/or spicier?

A solid outing especially compared to a lot of the recent D+ MCU. Not ‘must watch’ by any means but I don’t feel my time was wasted either let alone outright insulted (looking at you Secret Invasion).

Ah nice! When I encountered the basement I thought maybe it was for a side quest that got dropped (like finding his son) but this is even better. 

Ruby isn’t really a puzzlebox companion (yet) though. Yes the fandom is assuming there’s going to be some big reveal about her parents, and there probably will be, but the show itself isn’t riding on it yet.

If it was all about ‘who is Ruby’ and ‘oh isn’t she so mysterious and special’ I’d roll my eyes too - but…

Yep. Pretty sure the intent was ‘I’m not well versed on this character’ not ‘I’ve never heard of the show before’. 

Yeeeep. Even if he never laid a finger on her that would be gross and disturbing on its own. Even worse since it seems to be added on top of physical abuse as well. 

Honestly that’s not a bad price tag for a game when we consider cost to value. A good RPG, especially one with replayability, can give hours upon hours of entertainment. $70 is going out to a movie or two (depending on secondary spending) or a concert. It’s two or three books. I honestly expected this to be ‘including the actual fucking disc’ which seems to be going extinct as well.

Personal opinion: Cosmetics *should* be the moneymaker *if* main games and DLC prices are kept low.

I’m just glad they didn’t go for the ‘Marie and Jordan have to fight to the death’ angle. I groaned when they started the false setup for it. 

Yeah I’ve never understood the appeal of mozzarella sticks. Maybe every single place I’ve ever tried them at was horrid at making them but they’ve always just been either tasteless grease or congealed rubber. 

Highlights is definitely missing this:

My only disappointment when playing a Githyanki is how little it actually changed the story when interacting with Lae’zel or the Creche (never made it to Act 3 with that toon so not sure if it gets better during the Orpheus stuff).

But, power wise, yeah they were really solid to run with.  

First episode was a bit hit or miss for me but I’m glad I kept watching as the next two landed much better and I’m already looking forward to the next.
