I think they were a ‘rediscovered’ thing. There hadn’t been dragons in ages so nobody bothered keeping up anti-dragon weaponry. 

Maybe it’s just me but the ‘glacial’ court scenes were far more interesting than a rote battle for battle’s sake - we don’t even get to see the actual highlight of it, Daemon versus the Crab Feeder, which happens off screen.

Fast food and food court poutine is usually pretty terrible and not worth the price they charge for them.

I do love that poutine has become one of the big fusion foods within Canada so you can grab butter chicken poutine, galbi poutine, etc depending on the local immigrant communities.

Banning growing it, as an invasive species, makes sense. The fact that transporting it for sale fell under the same category was where it was foolish. Looks like they’ve taken the right steps.
