“Vitellaro labeled the boy as an “offender” who wasn’t complying with directions.”
Yeah I’m not going to comply with some random plain-clothed individual screaming at me and trying to grab me either. Imagine that.

aka Neil Gaiman pays attention to how Netflix operates.
Never, ever, assume Netflix will greenlight a new season no matter how good/popular your product is.
Although I don’t disagree with the rest as a slight correction they *did* specifically say that all attempts to turn the baby had failed. So, while we didn’t see them try, it’s not that they just jumped straight to surgery.
Kind of wish the recaps/reviews were being done in a split between ‘those who know the source material’ and ‘those who are watching it fresh’ since a lot of the ‘I wonders...’ I have about this episode could potentially be very big spoilers.
I do wonder if this was always the release plan or if they saw HBO Max imploding and decided to take a jab while they can (though stones in glass houses if that’s the case - they’re not doing that hot either).
Definitely enjoyed it. The tutoring scene felt like it went on a little too long but otherwise a strong start.
Think capri sun but instead of a foil pack of sugar it’s a plastic pack of milk.
It was definitely cruel and vengeful but I think that was to show us that he was fully in Saul mode. Saul doesn’t care who gets hurt to get his way. They had him walk by Marie to try and shake him so he turned that on them by not only showing that it had failed but making her witness to exactly *how* he would get away…
A great way to go out. We see Saul ‘win’ against the government to remind us why we enjoyed him then we get to see Jimmy truly win, at his own cost, by winning back a small piece of Kim’s respect.
There are animal deaths but not the dog.
I am sure she knows he’s a host. But what risks would you take to spend time with a family member you lost for decades?
He has the gravitas but I’d much rather see him in a role where he can really chew the scenery and Professor X isn’t really that.
Eh. Do I like the sprites? Not really. Are they a mockery of the original? Far from it.
Yeah Francesca is definitely a study in how prolonged contact with Jimmy/Saul is toxic.
The only downside is *cheap* cupping pepperoni which will look the same up until the grease slick in the cup is vile and a single slice leaves you feeling bogged down and sick.
They folded io9 under Gizmodo so it gets most of the nerd focus.
I try not to insult people’s looks since they don’t have control over it but *this* motherfucker is saying other people look like thumbs?!
Definitely feeling some sympathy for Rhea Seehorn since you know there are going to be chuds who don’t understand that actresses don’t write their own plots and take out Kim’s ‘betrayal’ on her.
Comic spoilers that may or may not end up applying in some form to the MCU to follow:
The original Kree Captain Marvel was, for a time, trapped in the Negative Zone - an antimatter dimension parallel to Earth. Through a psychic link to Rick Jones (a side-kick to the Avengers) he led Rick to a pair of Kree relics known…
They use the same basic system and take place in the same world but are (or at least were, in older editions, since we haven’t seen all the rules yet) on different scales of power. A werewolf could easily shred even a somewhat prepared vampire who in turn could slaughter all but the most prepared hunters and meanwhile…
