Oh and I forgot to mention that, for being largely a bookend character only mattering in the first episode and this one, it actually does reveal a lot about Zoe’s character. Not only was she not willing to cooperate with Damage Control in general but the reveal that she knew, all along, it was Kamala and not only did

Loved the little X-Men sting when they lampshaded ‘we’re not going to tell you what Kamala is nor does she care’.

Honestly I think it was just a fun jab at the audience wanting to define her as an Inhuman or being upset that she wasn’t declared as such. Kamala herself responds to Bruno’s ‘mutant’ comment by saying it doesn’t matter what she is.

Loved the little X-Men sting when they lampshaded ‘we’re not going to tell you what Kamala is nor does she care’. But I think saying that it heralds the age of mutants in MCU (and Kamala having a place among them) is premature. We already had the concept, though unnamed, with Professor X and Kamala responds to the

One thing that impacts difficulty is that in the old World of Darkness system each 1 you rolled subtracted a success which is no longer the case. This was somewhat balanced by exploding 10s but the new system has two 10s equal four successes so I think that’s a wash.

I mean he has a fitting head for MODOK. Doubt that’s where they’re going - but they should.

They were on the winning side and Mike (and, to a lesser extent, Gus) have been shown to take care of their own. They’ll get a proper burial if not a proper funeral for their families.

And all that *after* he made sure that the contract did not include due diligence. Presumably he didn’t want them digging into his affairs and finances without realizing it cuts both ways.

I meant affairs in the general sense not the sexual - but perhaps that too.

My personal Prime Day rules:

If it’s an impulse buy: Don’t.

If it is a need: Buy it local if it’s available and within your budget even if it’s more expensive.

If it is a need and not available/affordable locally and is not time sensitive: Push back the delivery date to not overload the poor souls in the warehouses.

I was very worried for a moment that this was the finale and a slapshod one. Glad we still have an episode left.

A little annoyed they have two differing ‘arrival’ moments for Kamala - one falling in front of the train the other on the platform.

The Clandestine/Veil wrapup was disappointingly anti-climactic. Maybe

Sense of time is rough with this episode. She was training with the Red Daggers and it must have taken a few days for the Clandestine to escape *and* make their way to Karachi. Obviously she’s showing better aptitude than a novice after a day or two of training but that’s not uncommon even for unpowered individuals in

I think people are looking for more depth in the Djinn aspect then there is. If your myths/beliefs have supernatural beings and suddenly a superpowered being appears without other context it makes sense that one would conflate the two.

Should the show have done so since it appears to be a sensitive topic for some?

I was expecting Tindle to not use (or at least not obviously list) gluten and for them to make that their selling point over the existing stuff. Or have we reached the point where gluten has stopped being a scary word like MSG before it?

The trail of stars was definitely hard light - though I assumed it was Aisha who was responsible for it.

Very pleased that Kamran is not ancient.

I’m not sure their status as Djinn rule out her being Inhuman - just a multiversal variant that got dubbed as such when they first encountered this universe’s humanity. The bangle being found on a blue (Kree) arm suggests there’s still a link between the two.

I’m certain she’ll get a growth arc. But, yeah, it’s hard to watch (though not unrealistic based on some families I’ve known)

Loved it. Solid characters with good chemistry showcased by really great design and production work. Looking forward to more of it.

Another thing to remember is also that a lot of hotels, even luxury name brands, are franchises. Which means, as much as they’re *supposed* to have a unified feel/experience, that it can also vary drastically from market to market (or even within the same city if the city is big enough). If you *are* going to spend

I love that they still try calling for ‘boycotts’ when they’ve proven time and time again that they either don’t have the numbers to impact a company’s bottom line or they don’t have the willpower not to consume the thing they’re angry at (and most likely both).

Pretty much any time you’ve had to take two (or more) steps to find someone it’s going to be creepy if you’re messaging them.
