I absolutely adored Linda’s ‘chicken’ moment. Makes sense for the mortal at the table to be trying to find any outlet for the stress they’re under.

Fingers crossed - t he information on the online update was actively labelled as ‘not for worldwide release’ while this wasn’t. Might be an oversight but it would make sense to launch the offline version worldwide.
There was a slip in the livestream that suggested at least 1 and 2 might get the treatment as well.
Well that’s not reassuring. Here I thought maybe they had listened to the actual concerns of the audience but, nope, need to strip away even more fun out of it.
Every few years back home we’d get a wayward soul who somehow managed to misbook Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada for Sydney, Australia when planning their flights.
Yeah my bad. Went back and doublechecked. I thought the line was that she needed the bribe money to get *to* Barstow but it was to get *out* of Barstow. So a little less bleak I suppose.
Nope. But since the kids got nuked I guess they decided her fate didn’t matter either....
Overall better than I expected even if it falls apart once you start thinking about it too much.
Yeah the switching between A and B plots was the weakest part of this episode even though both, on their own, were great. Just the mismatch in feel and tone throws off the flow. Otherwise an amazing episode.
Yeah it was either time-travel, dimensional travel, or alien - and she acted more out of time than anything else.
Stripe’s ‘ripples’ were flashbacks not forward. Although back and forward are relative to where she is in time so it *may* still be she had the power in the future but it was a lot less useful. If so it would add credence to the odds we end up with a time loop (or a ‘this is all a simulation/fantasy’ reveal both past…
And that’s why you don’t get greedy. Willing to bet if he hadn’t started spreading/selling the info they likely wouldn’t have even noticed - let alone come down so hard on him if they did.
Yeah I am so sick of this show playing ‘mystery box’ with the audience for stuff it’s apparently all too willing to reveal to the characters within it. It’s keeping secrets solely for a ‘shocking reveal’ despite that reveal already being out of the box within the story. It’s stringing along the audience for no reason…
“It’s better for everybody,” she said. “It’s better for the car company, it’s better for the dealer.”
They definitely want us to think Omega is Force sensitive and, since Filoni enjoys mysteries but not twists for the sake of twists, is probably going to be the case - but with much more to learn about how/why.
Well they definitely succeeded. Even having read the comics so knowing full well what was coming the pain and devastation, emotional as much as physical, hit hard and solid. For being pretty much one massive fight scene it still carried the full episode.
Ok whoever came up with the idea of the Odium fight scene deserves a lot of credit and kudos to the VFX team for making it work so well. It definitely stood out.
Even worse since character staff still can’t have anything that breaks character. So this isn’t ‘Belle has a mohawk’ this is ‘that person at the ticket booth dares have purple hair!’
Yeah they were clearly moving more and more towards ‘we’re just a store’ for awhile now which is really disappointing. 15% is better than nothing but it’s still shitty to see them go that way. Sad, but not surprising, to see the heart and soul got lost over the course of changing hands.
