Yeah it seemed pretty obvious there was something going on behind the scenes. He was pretty much a cameo character for much of the last season.

The Whedonisms are strong but the cast is incredibly solid and the premise, while nothing amazing, is decent enough. I’ll likely keep watching especially to see if the change in showrunners tightens it up even more or causes it to implode.

As for what ‘The Nevers’ are I recall a piece early on mentioned it wasn’t

A passionate fanbase, even when they’re not happy with the show, equals a lot of eyes on the page. The fact that a lot of sites stopped running Shameless reviews also ups that figure. It’s all about the money as always (in terms of the decision making process, no shade to the staff writers)

Wow that was lackluster and punchless. It didn’t even feel like a season finale let alone a series finale. Other than Frank’s monologue at the end it was ‘just another episode’ and not even a great one by that standard.

Spent so much of this episode trying to remember who the fuck Heidi was - clearly this was someone important I had managed to forget in the meandering stories but... nope... just there so Debbie can find someone even worse than her.

As for Lip these last two episodes honestly feel like the show forgot which of the

Forced scarcity and impulse buys do work though. It’s the Disney Vault but applied to Nintendo.

Mad... or envious of their car collection. I’m sure they’re going to find a number of new homes quite quickly.

I am still baffled that the writers and showrunners are somehow completely unaware of how much they’ve sandbagged Debbie. They keep acting like the audience should like and care for her without any earned redemption.

Might even be the point. While I’m sure devs prefer people play their game the way they intended why turn down the money of the people who want to cheat if you can let them do it without pissing off your other players.

Eclipso in Stargirl. Starro in Suicide Squad. It’s a good time to like weird DC villains.

Glad they treated Walker right - giving him full character status and showing us the layers of his life. It would be easy to make him just an asshole, or incompetent, to make him easy to root against but they went out of their way to avoid that.

The ‘mouse turds’ actually *do* look like what happens when sugar bunches during the baking process and caramelizes. The ‘shrimp tails’ on the other hand look a lot like shrimp tails....

Yeah it made me expect some kind of mirror or bookend to the first episode but, nope.

I really hope that Christian Isaiah gets a great show after this that treats him right because the kid’s got talent. He actually makes the Liam moments somewhat bearable despite how badly plotted and written they usually are.

The sadly funny thing is it’s basically the opposite of how they were trying to downplay covid at the start:
‘None of these deaths are covid they just happened to have covid at the time.’
Now it’s:
‘These people had the vaccine so the vaccine must be the cause of death!’

I bet they don’t even see the irony and disconnect.

Companies tend to think it’s an appealing way to fit the bilingual packing needs in. You’ll see that format a lot in Canadian products.

Glad the article touched on the rules changing to allow it. I could have sworn that it was forbidden and, apparently, I was right once upon a time but now things have changed.

But he believes the land owners should get PFBC’s ire, not him.”

It’s their fault for letting me do illegal shit on their land! Not mine for doing the illegal shit in the first place....

Most horrific combos required vast amounts of grinding anyway - there’s your balance if you really feel you must have it devs. Let us build stupid, broken shit if we want to put the time in.

Yeah I wouldn’t think to do it at a restaurant but pre-tipping at a somewhat busy bar is a very smart move if you plan to be placing orders through the night.
