Wrapped a little easy but good enough.
Wrapped a little easy but good enough.
I’m surprised only at the timing. Doing it now with the way the world is watching and feeling about police and race is a poor idea. Unless there’s a limited window in which to make the appeal. A smart, if scummy, lawyer probably would have suggested to wait until after the election. No matter how it turns out those…
For questions about personal danger in the comments - the study doesn’t say. It was about environmental pollution risks not personal health risks.(So comparing it to coronavirus or saying something else ‘won’t poison you’ is a little misleading).
Yep. All for lab grown meat as long as it has good texture (the main failing so far) and bacon is a pretty easy one to get right where it’s mostly fat anyway.
Conde Nast: We’ll blow a hole in an incredibly popular and likely profitable division just so we don’t have to treat our employees equally.
Back in university we devised something similar although we subbed out coke for the cheapest cola available as well. It was definitely a solid, cheap ‘dumb idea’ beverage.
It was better than I expected... but I had *very* low expectations.
It’ll be really interesting to see what happens to the Q true believers if Trump doesn’t leave office and then continues to do nothing about their pet conspiracies. If he gets voted out then they can continue to hold onto their beliefs as ‘the deep state triumphing against him’ but if he stays in power that gets a lot…
Yeah Jumpstart is great but you’ve hit the nail on the head about its problem - the themes rarely mesh as well as the designers said they would. It’s still a fun format but you can tell some combinations are a lot more potent than others.
I mean it all seemed pretty clear to me. Past!Reginald viewed the team he met as a bunch of useless fuck ups. So when it came time for him to form the academy he chose different kids. Ben still ended up chosen because he never interacted with him in the past.
That Pogo opening is probably the best part of the entire season. Mixed with the dance number this is definitely one of the best episodes.
What could be considered spoilers ahead:
It is an incredibly minimal piece of information that does not give away anything about what happens.
Halfway through the season (don’t worry, no spoilers) and so far the pacing and plotting hold up. It often feels like I’ve only been watching for minutes not hours unlike the sometimes-slog of season one.
Malick honestly has always felt like a pawn piece. The problem being that, with so few episodes left, I don’t think there’s enough time to really flip Sibyl, or someone else, into the final showdown villain we’d want. I know some people were theorizing an ‘Evil Fitz’ reveal but I think even that would take a few more…
I’m really glad they didn’t decide to drag out the ‘lack of self-confidence means lack of powers’ for more than an episode. Yes, it’s a classic trope but it bogs things down and has been done to death.
I know the Kickstarter risks but, damn, if there’s even a snowball’s chance in hell they pull this off I want it to happen.
I honestly did not expect Enoch’s death to impact me so much (especially after the great laugh of him pulling out his ‘heart’) so kudos to the writing team. Especially to Henstridge as well - if this is her first time directing it’s a hell of an entry in her CV and a feather in her cap.
On one hand ‘fuck Clint Eastwood’ on the other ‘fuck shady marketing scum’ - there are no winners here this day.
I don’t count anyone as dead on a superhero show until there’s a body - especially with Ito around.
