He definitely is not, thankfully; he’s progressive and feminist. At least on Twitter, he’s vocally anti-Trump and pro-immigrant (his family sought asylum in the US), retweets Stacey Abrams, and champions women.

Very sad we have to wait a full year for more episodes. I thought that whole scene last week in the canteen was one of the best scenes this show has had.

The original Captain Trips.

Not sure how well this show is going to go over in the current climate. I still feel the growing COVID crisis is what lead to the cancellation of Counterpart.

Call me when they bring back Nicholas Hammond from the 70's live action tv show and the Spider-Man from “The Electric Company".

I found that scene to be insightful. While everyone else sees a child or odd little creature, Moff sees an adversary worthy of some of his respect and humor.

I got the feeling that he thinks he can give Grogu the Dark Saber and use Grogu like a weapon.

That’s remarkably self-aware. Are you sure you are an internet commenter?

I agree with this take completely. In fact, reading other comments here where folks are calling him a coward for not just standing up for himself with regard to Camilla are missing the fact that he had the will metaphorically beaten out of him when he was still young. The royals broke him (which it sounds like it

True. I only thought he just looked cool but I didn’t start to become a “fan” until I started getting into the novels and Darkhorse comics where they actually had him live up to his reputation. Cooled over the years partly from just growing up but also I tended to fall victim to “oh this thing has become more popular

THANK YOU

Not that Giancarlo Esposito isn’t reliably excellent but even for him, I really got a kick out of his work in the scene with Grogu, going so far as to seemingly tempt him with the Darksaber before getting back to business mode.

Charles, real and fictional, is such a worthless weenie, oh my god.

So it’s an X-tra dick move for the Prof to tell Franklin “Nah, we won’t help you even though we have Beast and a whole mess of other geneticists.”

I know we can worry about more than one thing at a time, but I think right now when the Trump Administration is literally and actually trying to carry out a subtle, slow motion coup, we should maybe set aside the complaints about Star Wars.

Now we know why Yoda picked Dagobah. He was probably the apex predator in that area of the planet.

Everyone with this line of take is joking right? I’m just not catching the sarcasm, right?

So are all these Star Wars critters made out of the same amino acids? Otherwise no one's getting any nourishment from eating each other.

“Mando’s still getting the hang of fatherhood, but not eating other people’s children is the sort of lesson he should want to impress upon his young charge, as it’s deeply messed up.”

Messed up? I encourage my children to eat the ova of avian creatures all of the time and I am positively the greatest patriarch, which
