That’s true if you include non-speaking extras - the car rally scenes alone are filled with women trying to be sexier than the cars. But speaking roles have pretty strong women characters, comparable to others outside of Dom and Brian (strong as in not shallowly written).

The roles are as substation as anyone outside of Dom and Brian. I love the women in those movies.

The main cast included Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, and Gal Gadot for a while. Then there is the revolving door of supporting roles like Eva Mendes and Elsa Pataky who play cops for a while. And then you’ve got several women as villains who don’t get to speak but have cool action scenes.
