To be sure the Nazis weren't anti-abortion, just anti-choice. They heavily penalized abortion for Aryan women but instituted forced abortion for undesirable groups. The basic idea that a woman has no agency over her body is still right up the modern anti-choicers' illegal abortion back alley, though.

That's a good point. Why are they so obsessed with other peoples' lives? If they all disappeared tomorrow, nobody would remember anything about them that was good. The forgetting would be eager. Yet the opposite is not true.

I'm very confused why they depicted Mr. Stave as a Nazi. The Third Reich was the only government in history to institute the death penalty for abortion, so I thought the Nazis were exactly their kind of people.
