No, that's it. That's how they were able to get the "original" dog's DNA.

I live really close to the train tracks, and every time I have to cross them and I see a train coming, I'm afraid I will just keep walking.

Yeah, my last comment, if I'd been speaking, would have been said in a lighthearted, jesting voice :)

I agree he should have!

Oh, I agree. I just think the problem has many variables, and this is a part of it that women contribute to. Most of it, of course, is a problem with guy psychology. I work in an office with 4 men (PhD students, all of them) and the way the talk about women is appalling, to be honest. I can't even picture what it's

A good one, I'd say. I mostly am outraged on behalf of my straight friends a lot though. "No" should mean no, always. Our culture should do away with those ideas of girls "playing hard to get" - just say if you're interested and be truthful. Eveything would be much easier, for men *and* for women. That kind of thing

Very funny fail tho :)

Only because our current society still makes being gay such a horrible thing.I have no problem with being a lesbian, but I did when I was younger and was stuck in homophobia-land.

Yeah, I suppose there is, like there is everywhere. Most of those people didn't dedicate this amount of time/power to their lies or get profiled on Wired though, so there's that.

But he lied about how important they were to him... No wonder he went on dates with 87 (!!!) women and wasn't compatible with any of them, in real life.

This is also why a lot of guys think a girl's "no" means "convince me"... I'm a lesbian and guys still take a "not interested, I'm gay" as "convince me" or "you're the guy I've been waiting to meet all my life but I don't want to admit it!" or I don't know what...

He was misrepresenting himself.

I agree! It's like those "romantic" gestures from 80s movies which are actually quite creepy...

Being trans is not a fraud though, and the fact that she lied about other things doesn't negate her gender identity.

I found that part really odd too, actually, the whole: well, now that I know she's trans and LIED, I don't trust the putter and it doesn't work magically like it did before.

ergo != due to.

Chemical companies require a lot of water and are built near water sources for this reason.

As someone who changed majors 3 years into a degree, I approve.

No, the point of IUPAC names is you can figure out their structure. Just that. (Which also doesn't mean that you've had to have heard of every (especially organic) chemical in existence, that is absurd)

The dose is the poison though. I mean, your body *produces* formaldehyde as part of normal metabolism... so obviously it's safe at some concentrations.
