I’ve heard basically only bad things about Enterprise, but I’m still going to watch it when I get to that point, for the sake of completeness.

I consider myself a Star Trek fan but I haven’t seen most of this. Oh, the shame.
The original never really appealed to me much, but this looks .... good.
Or how Sergeant Colon described Uberwald: ‘Like a misery wrapped in an enema.’
I did. But I was university-age, I think. It’s easier then.
‘The whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.’
That’s incredible. What extraordinary women you spring from.
Here for absolutely anything which mentions the extraordinary Aphra Behn.
‘Don’t leave me here alone ... don’t go where I can’t follow.’
Yes! How did this get left off? They died with their hands wrapped around each other’s throats as G’Kar tried to help his friend achieve heroic self-sacrifice, save Sheridan and Delenn and his people ...
‘One of the reasons I find his and Harry’s relationship so touching is because of its innate imbalance: Harry wants a father figure, Sirius wants a friend.’
What’s with the Rory hate?
‘Is there anything in the literature that suggests this is a normal part of learning how to use the Force?’
Thank you so much for writing this.
Well, he’s received Force training himself. Presumably he’d be able to tell the difference between someone taking their first steps and someone who already knew how to channel the Force? He’s just seen a lot of Rey’s mind.
Chewie was in the mix of the pilots/medics trying to help Finn, no? He certainly wasn’t standing all alone looking clearly emotionally devastated (not that he wasn’t).
I see your point, but BB-8 tells Poe Dameron that Finn saved him. ‘Finn saved you? Where is he ... BB-8 says you saved him.’ That would require Dameron to understand BB-8.
‘She can fly the Falcon with no prior training.’
Kylo Ren does specifically say she’s ‘untrained’, though. Surely he’d have sensed some Jedi training when he was poking around in her brain, unless she managed to keep him away from that somehow as well as the memory of the map.
Perhaps when Kylo Ren first encountered Vader’s helmet, he had a similar vision-y experience to Rey’s when she first encountered Luke’s lightsaber?
