Can’t stand her, I also find her annoying and unfunny. She grates on me

I second the comment that he’s gaslighting you. This isn’t about different political viewpoints. His attitude and comments clearly indicate a lack of respect - not just that he is disrespecting your opinion, but that he does not respect you. It’s not male privilege...you have a professional track record that speaks to…
NAME TAGS. You just took me back 30 years - a hardward/lumber store, smaller than the big box ones but very busy. Name tags made cashiers - all teenage girls - a target for creeps. I especially felt bad for the girl named ‘Caressa’
I agree, abusers have an unsettling ability to charm people in just the right way, and this is not very well understood. For people who have not been the target of an abuser, it’s hard to appreciate the subtlety they can use...and that they can get you to go against your own impulses and instincts.
Even if he has sobered up, it does not change his personality. He’d just be a sober entitled cheater with anger issues. One can’t blame everything on alcohol. Though it’s unfortunately used as a handy excuse by people who refuse to be accountable for their actions and choices in life.
Thank you for the context. That makes sense - this is the woman who sang “L.A. told me, you’ll be a pop star, all you have to change is everything you are”.
It’s the life of a narcissistic sociopath as they age, and their ability to impress some of the people some of the time takes a dive. It’s a fitting blow to the ego from the karma stick. They dislike people unless they are useful, but still crave the adulation - very forward-thinking of the WH to have a team creating…
And that answers “Why aren’t they on the reboot, don’t they have nostalgia for their old castmates”. Aside from their wealth and the quality of the reboot.
Practical jokes that are done TO someone where they are the butt of the joke, or are being mercilessly tortured for ‘fun’ - require that the prankster enjoy making someone squirm, enjoy seeing someone in distress, get off on putting someone through agony. It’s a very distinct trait that most people don’t have. In a…
I agree she serves as both prop and cover for him, he definitely has strong signs of dementia. It’s also evident in still photos, there’s a certain look I’ve witnessed in my father - also with dementia, also a narcissistic sociopath.
Yes, “Look what you made me do” - the classic victim-speak of every abuser and personality-disordered individual, ever.
Thank you for the Trump reference. I was thinking am I the only one who sees it?? Swift also has personality disorder all over her actions. If you’ve ever been in a relationship with one, or have them in your family, it’s crystal clear.
In other news, it’s now clear there’s also another reason why Trump has been going on & on about statues “these things here 100, 150 years...they’re erasing our history....” - he’s projecting & distracting from what he himself has just done to the exterior of the South Portico. Apparently his ‘neceessary’ renos…
About the time he had creepily done the same with Aaliyah, who had long since passed. Someone he could obsess over, give tributes to, get tatted on his back (not inconspicuously)...who could never reject him while he’s all “sweetly” lovelorn. http://www.complex.com/music/2012/08/a-history-of-drakes-obsession-with-aali…
“As a guilty man I knew the only way to hide was to act as though I were righteous.”
He has been calling out the circus of 45 and not pulling punches. His long commentaries are a surprise in late night and insightful.
Fascinating character profile and psychological study. I like the neuropsychologist who discussed brain development...and the comparison to sociopathy. I think with his prior history & current stories, it’s very clear where this guy falls.
He IS sorry - that he was caught. He IS devastated - for the inconvenience this is causing him. It’s a classic self-centered hollow apology from an individual lacking empathy or consideration for others...personality traits that allowed him to engage in the behavior in the first place.
Thank you for that pic, so cute! Mine are also the best thing that has happened to me! But they aren’t bonded, separate shelter adoptions. Hope someday they’ll cuddle & groom each other, so far it’s just me they groom, which is always appreciated :)
That link from 2015 reflects the one-sided nature of their poor-us trash-talking offensive - irresponsible of NBC to not investigate the other side. The WaPo link above has more detail including other unpaid fees; the jury decided their claim had no merit.
