I’ve seen lying like that. In fact, I’ve lied like that: cruelly, prolifically, and all to keep a desperate grasp on what little power I had.

Of course, I was seven and lying to my little sister about the tv malfunctioning so she’d play Barbies with me even though she didn’t want to.

Easily.

Trump goes on and on about “fake news’—while lying prolifically.

“Another false story, this time in the Failing @nytimes, that I watch 4-8 hours of television a day - Wrong! “

...and, like, immediately after they say it on TV, for some odd reason.

I’d be more sympathetic if Beyoncé weren’t so keen on using other people’s artistic property without crediting or paying them, herself.

#notallteenagers Donald’s self-absorption and irresponsibility goes way beyond typical teenage behavior.

Completely OT: I have had Hallelujah stuck in my head for the last 48 hours, and when I first saw your name, I momentarily thought my earworm had taken on a visual form and I was just hallucinating.

let’s not beat around the bush. Islam, like all Abrahamic religions is a deeply patriarchial religion, for better or worse.

You haven’t been to a Muslim country have you?

You think women wearing hijabs, niqabs, etc. don’t get sexually harassed and assaulted? How cute.

There is . . . a lot . . . wrong with this comment.

Except in the case of Ibtihaj Muhammad it wasn’t really much of a choice. It certainly wasn’t her choice when she was young. I’m not sure what extent it’s her choice now considering the tremendous social forces put upon her to wear it. It’s never quite as simple as we like to pretend it is. Go read her story. You can

I hate to break it to you, but women get catcalled regardless of their attire. I’ve been catcalled while wearing a formless sweatsuit that made me look like Grimace. Men catcall because it’s a gross power move, not because the woman is dressed immodestly.

Ugh I don’t like Kylie, but I find it hard to believe her shade range was inspired by Rihanna. There is no way her company only started the development of these shades when they saw centuries beauty adverts. I would bet that this have been in development for over a year

MD, I adore you and gobble up your UK updates like limited-edition M&Ms, but Rihanna’s altruistic by offering makeup for women of color and Kylie’s not? L-O-L. They’re both shrewd beauty brands looking to make a shitload of money. Fenty Beauty is just shrewder.

I doubt that they made a conscious decision to behave in that fashion. When you’re an asshole, it’s hard to suppress bad behavior. If anything, what we observed was probably their toned down efforts.

They’ll get some of it but the media has had it out for the Clinton’s since the 90s. They blow everything around her out of proportion.

If a man tends to harass women as a sport then it is not surprising he does not respect them.

I’m getting tired of the blame-game with Clinton’s loss. Most of the reason she lost is because she was politically toxic going into the election. I’m not saying that her gender was not a factor for some, but most of those people were already voting Republican.
