“Don’t paint yourself purple then be surprised and offended when people ask you where the party is.” I actually laughed outloud at that. Great analogy.

That is adorable - happy swimming!

That is my body type as well and I just happened to be on the hunt for a pair of shorts just like these! Cheers :)

Oh my God, THAT’S where I recognize him from! Everyone kept saying he was the guy from Lost, but I never watched that show, and he looked so familiar....it’s been driving me nuts, thank you.

I’ve got to say, I was a little irritated at the combining of Trump and the Pope in the article. The family is reportedly Catholic, so I imagine his words and prayers are a source of at least small comfort to them.

They’ve already said they will donate the money in the event (very likely now given the court ruling) that Charlie will not be receiving the experimental treatment. They seem to be very good people doing their best in tragic circumstances.

Oh Christ. Hadn’t thought of that. Chances are he has no idea who that is, but I’ll bet you Mike Pence does.

Right? I winced when I read that this morning - this idiot inserting himself here is probably pretty high on the list of “things this poor family does not need.”

Loss of sensation? I’m in no way judging, merely curious! I’ve always felt my legs had more sensation after a shave.

Poor Marines!

That was my first thought as well - “oh hey, I would not have guessed that Trump knew how to embed a video. Weird.” As opposed to the expected horror and disgust at the mockery he’s made of the office of the president and our country.

I’m using that on my husband when he gets home. I’ll report back as to how successful it was.

I tell everyone all my grandparents are dead - in truth, both on my maternal side are still alive. I cut ties 10 years ago in an attempt to convince my mom to back away from their lifelong abuse, and I didn’t feel like explaining a complex family history to anyone. Bless ‘em, they’re still alive in their 90s. My

Seems like one of those situations where you make up something a tad easier to handle for everyone except close friends. Dad died of cancer young, Mom couldn’t cope, had a breakdown, etc. Poor babies.

That is a good perspective. Thanks for sharing!

This was a beautiful comment (no sarcasm - it did a good job of summing up why I haven’t managed to bring myself to entirely leave).

Hello fellow lapsed Catholic! I’ve been wavering back and forth for years. When I got pregnant a few months ago, I really started thinking about it, because I wanted to baptise the baby, but do I return to my roots and go for Catholicism, or do I just take the Church of England (I’m currently living in the UK and

She is inexplicably still very successful in Asia and the Middle East - as I recall (and don’t ask me why I know this), her perfumes make millions and she gets paid eye watering sums to DJ in places like Dubai. How this is possible, I can’t say! She probably still pines for the sweet fame of the early 2000s though.

I still don’t understand why they scrapped it. I sincerely enjoyed it, and it was such a friendly little corner of the Internet. No one gets heated and starts name calling if you have a difference in opinion on powder versus liquid foundation (powder forever, and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise!).

Hooray, Jane is back! I’d prefer it if you returned clutching Milihelen with a letter of apology from management for scrapping it, but I’ll gladly take this. Welcome back!
