This is a case of faulty logic and going after something that isn’t a threat. Car dealers thing they are losing sales because people aren’t buying cars from them. These are collector cars, nobody is cross shopping a R34 skyline and a new Chevy Equinox.

Kinda depends on the crime, no? I mean I’d try to avoid someone with a low level crime like drug possession, but I’d aim and accelerate at a child molester.

This isn’t entrapment; as the officer didn’t compel or incentivise Everett or his gf to post anything, and you absolutely have NO expectation of privacy for anything you post on Facebook.

I just pulled up the docket from Mr. Everett’s appeal and he was convicted of possessing a firearm as a felon (“prohibited person”) — under Delaware law, it doesn’t matter if the girlfriend owned the gun.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. In this case, a habitual offender sentence.

Everett’s real crime here is narcissism and immaturity - what respectable 41 year old collects facebook friends like baseball cards and posts photos to look hard and show off to others?

Welp--he was stupid. He kept doing shady sh-- knowing that he could land back in prison. The desire to floss & seem like a big deal by posting a hood pic was his downfall. Yes it's lame that they used it against him. But he's stupid for posting it.

I’m sorry, but if you’re gonna run around doing shady stuff and you’re posting shady things you might want to be a little more careful about who you’re sharing your shady life updates with.

At the risk of sounding like my grandfather, there are some fads I just don’t get and this would be one of them. I mean, do you hate ball joints that much?

Shes not even a test driver, shes a “development program” member. I don’t even believe shes actually piloted and F1 car at all. She was a publicity stunt plain and simple. She is ineligible for a Superlicense, even under the old rules!

The worst woman possible would have been a woman who doesn’t race.

But that is completely incorrect. Formula 1 absolutely is about physical strength and we know this because the drivers go through rigorous training to be able to pilot these cars. Everyone who follows the sport knows the amount of force exerted on the neck and core during cornering, on the leg during braking, the heat…

If they really cared about getting women into motorsports they would have chosen Oprah. It would have made her care a bit about women in motorsports which would have made her realize that there aren’t many women in motorsports because they don’t have as many opportunities.
