It's 100% relative to where you live. In a lot of areas you'd be loaded at $100k a year. Here in Seattle, that's about the bare minimum if you want to actually own a home somewhere remotely close to work and if you don't you can expect at least a 1 hour commute. If you want a family you'll need quite a bit more. For

Things are good, really good! If I had one request, it would be to see more interviews from drivers who made an impact on the history of motorsports. Michele Mouton, for example, would be an amazing interview to read.

That does look exactly what I'm looking for. Love alternate history and Seven Samurai!

Will do, thanks! It's not so much the age of the character, but how they're portrayed.

I like a lot of the big name Anime stuff (Miyazaki's works, Appleseed, Ghost in the Shell's variations, Sword of the Stranger, etc), but the constant school girl stuff just does not do it for me. I don't understand the fascination with it in adult anime. It's not even mildly erotic to me, it's just... weird. I'm

Always loved the Countach Highway Patrol car when I was a kid.

I would kill all of the Avengers to bring back Firefly with it's original cast.

We DID do it just for the drive last Summer. Took a trip to Jerome, Arizona to get some wine and took every great road we could find along the way. 8 days there, and 1 long day back. Best trip of my 33 years of life to date.

California Highway 89, just below Lake Topaz is where this photo was taken. It's closed winters and it's a popular road for bicycles so be safe if you take the drive, but it's sooooo worth it. It was the most fun I've ever had in my Z06 on the street. This was the route from South Lake Tahoe, and here we are at the

One of my favorite drives!

I WAS DOING FINE TODAY UNTIL I SAW THAT DOG. Though seriously, that episode was a giant leap for animation and emotion. Everyone I know just gets quiet and sad as soon as that scene plays. It's eerie in a beautiful way.

I'm a big fan of letting your feet be feet. Minimal all the way.

Do you just download nothing but porn you get from torrent sites? I haven't had a virus since.. 2000? 2001?

Tires are definitely the big cost, but I guess I meant dirt for the level of car you get. And I never had to replace my AC Compressor or had any issues with it, even through Death Valley. Still the best car I've ever owned. It was replaced by a C63 and I've regretted it every second. I'm replacing the C63 with a C7

Huge +1 to DailyRoads Voyager. I just use my phone (Galaxy S3) and it works flawlessly as a dash cam.

I sold mine on craigslist and bought a Roku. Seriously. I got so fed up with it I just gave up and it was a great decision. Of course if you have a giant iTunes library you're kind of hosed, but if you just want streaming content, I've been a lot happier since the switch. Not trying to slam on Apple, but in this case

I completely gave up cable TV about 5 years ago and haven't ever missed it.

Definitely aftermarket.

The suspension and brakes are more expensive to replace on my Jetta than they were on my Z06, and I only get about 4 more MPG in my Jetta GLI than I did in the Z06. Seriously. 18 in the Vette, 22 in the Jetta (city driving).
