One of my favorite drives!

I'm a big fan of letting your feet be feet. Minimal all the way.

Tires are definitely the big cost, but I guess I meant dirt for the level of car you get. And I never had to replace my AC Compressor or had any issues with it, even through Death Valley. Still the best car I've ever owned. It was replaced by a C63 and I've regretted it every second. I'm replacing the C63 with a C7

Huge +1 to DailyRoads Voyager. I just use my phone (Galaxy S3) and it works flawlessly as a dash cam.

I completely gave up cable TV about 5 years ago and haven't ever missed it.

Definitely aftermarket.

The suspension and brakes are more expensive to replace on my Jetta than they were on my Z06, and I only get about 4 more MPG in my Jetta GLI than I did in the Z06. Seriously. 18 in the Vette, 22 in the Jetta (city driving).

The later Corvette C6 Z06s. The 2008+ models with the newer valvetrain and T6060 transmissions are bulletproof cars, dirt cheap to maintain, and and a riot to drive. There's a reason they're so popular. Best of all, you can find them in the low 40s now.

I had Goodyear run-flats my 2007 Z06 when I bought it and they were a pretty durable tire, but that's all they were. The biggest problem is they seemed really unpredictable no matter what the weather or road condition. The traction was either there or it wasn't and in a car like C6 Zo6, you need a lot of traction. I

I switched to Plex this year from XBMC and it was the best decision ever. I've got my family linked up to my HTPC via their Roku's and now they can stream my content as well. It's really easy to use, and the $5 for the app was worth every penny.

Best road trip car I've ever owned was C6 Z06. Blows my stupid C63 away in every possible way. For 2 people, it's got plenty of space and is a riot to drive. Seats weren't great for track, but perfect for long trips.

I completely agree with this. If it's going to jump into the $100k+ territory forget it.

I bought my last Corvette (a 2007 Z06) when I was 31. I didn't buy it sooner because I couldn't afford it. As EVERYONE here is pointing out, it's because most young people can't afford $60k cars. By the way, I loved my Z06, cheap interior and all, because it was a riot to drive. My C63 is as boring as watching paint

Totally COTD.

I hate extreme stanced even more. WAY more. Stanced is the dumbest thing I have ever seen and actually makes me angry. I should probably be more tolerant of others people tastes, but I just can't get over how dumb it is. I think it's because so many people do it to actual performance cars... I know, I completely

Suburban Auto Group - Trunk Monkey, for sure. Cal Worthington and his dog spot for a close second.

HOW AM I JUST NOW DISCOVERING THIS?! THANK YOU!

Considering I'll be getting my next one from the plant, this was actually pretty cool to see.

Depends greatly on the vehicle. I've seen huge gains on vehicles with forced induction and even some losses. A lot of K&N filter designs replace a large portion of the airbox (not K&N intakes, just filters), so you typically see more gains from them. The C6 Corvette for example - you replace the giant, thick stock

COTD right there. Literally laughed out loud.
