I don't disagree with you about this particular app. :) I'll stick with JDate or Match!

Fucking awesome. Bravo.
I don't understand why anyone gives a shit about the kind of milk or milk substitute anyone else drinks. I don't drink milk because it messes with my blood sugar. I use unsweetened almond milk or coconut/almond milk because it doesn't mess with my blood sugar, and I like the way it tastes. If this makes me an…
you win the internet today.
You're very kind! I wouldn't know how to handle it any other way - our kids are so young (4 and 6), and the idea of exacerbating any of the stress or difficulty that this will naturally cause them is totally repugnant to me (and to my ex). I talked to a lot of people who had gone through divorces with young kids,…
I appreciate the kind wishes. In all honestly, it's been a long time coming and we're doing it right. It's an amicable split - no fighting, no disagreement about custody or money, and we're doing everything possible to make it as smooth as possible for the kids. He's getting a place across the street from my house,…
sounds about right to me.
I'm not saying this to be snarky, but I think it's much easier when you're 24 (at least it was for me - I was single, childless and had a good job, so my options, and the time I had to explore them, were huge). I'm re-entering the single world in my 40s after splitting with my husband, I've got 2 kids, and I work…
With my first kid I was working for a private law firm and got 12 weeks of paid short term disability, plus whatever paid sick/vacation leave I had accrued. When I had my second kid I was working for a shitty non-profit and got my limited paid vacation/sick leave, and then 6 weeks unpaid. So it really depends on who…
I'm pretty sure that the law only covers businesses with at least 15 employees, so I don't think it would apply to you.
He really is such a cutie-patootie.
Believe me, we can tell pretty quickly once the conversation starts.
Or 1967. Or 1973. Or all of the subsequent attacks.
Paris Hilton is like a toddler. My daughter is also obsessed with unicorns and rainbows, but her excuse is that she's 4.
Not odd at all. I was not suggesting that appreciation of cleavage would be at the expense of appreciating intellect, believe me. Hotness only goes so far. I'm far more interested in a big brain than a big anything else.
Honestly, I wouldn't expect them to focus on anything else. Why be bothered with details that don't pertain to you?
I'm impressed that you remember the model of bra your ex enjoyed. I've never been with a guy who paid the least bit of attention to the style of bra I wore - they were only concerned with what was in it.
Moving Comfort makes great bras - I'm a 34 DD, sometimes DDD, and their Fiona bra is amazing (some like the Juno, but I don't like racerback bras, so that one isn't as comfy on me). I also like their Maia bra, but I think the Fiona is more supportive.
Seriously. The only reaction I can muster to the "free the nipple" activism is "who fucking cares?"
