That wheel design was ahead of its time, and those would be decently sized even today. I’m not sure how much the exterior really affected their future design, but individual elements of this car have since been used. Some of the interior clearly inspired the RX-8's production insides, though the RX-9 concept clearly

Call me crazy but I think some of this Kap backlash is not only angry conservative white fans that can’t countenance dissenting views of history, but also the Christianized portion of them still grinding their teeth over the eschewing of Tim Tebow’s career from the game. A few times a year I still see the odd

Right. I saw a YT video recently that explained just how much of an absolute PITA and cost replacing the starter on a 1G LS400 is. It’s a super expensive repair, and there aren’t many parts available for those cars anymore. I also remember years ago shopping for a nice SC400, and all the ones I test drove (all private

Even though these are priced lower than CTS-Vs, they still aren’t super common. I live in the 5th largest US city, and there are only ever a couple on the market at a time, either CPO or private sale.

I’m sure they won’t. Cadillac and Buick are having a stupendously hard time keeping values up on vehicles not named SRX or Escalade. I’m continually amazed at the value hit 1- and 2-year-old Buicks take on the used market.

Ya, I’d take a CTS-V wagon over a CTS Vsport. The wagons are holding their value, though, so it’s quite easy to pay more for the older wagon than this newer sedan. The wagon is so great, though.

Which is why this is pretty much the only car I’ve been considering as an alternative to pickup up one of the last Chevy SSs. Similar power, more features, more dramatic looks, even if it’s auto-only. A friend of mine got one last year to replace his S4.

Ya. Then engine’s weight is its biggest flaw. But, diesels will always be heavy.

“12-valve” is meant to distinguish from the later versions. And BTW, just because the newer 24-valve versions have 4 valves per cylinder does not mean it went from pushrod to OHC. All of the Big 3 diesel engines are 4-valve OHV four stroke designs.

I’m guessing it’ll be at least a couple grand to get the car cleaned up and parts replaced, too.

Finally someone who agrees! Burnouts are freaking stupid.

Ehhh, whaaaaa? Ardbeg is great, but I think it’s more subtle and smooth. Lagavulin and Laphroaig are as peaty as it gets for me until you start in with Bruichladdich Rocks or something.

Good. I get the feeling that the speculators are just creating a bubble that will burst at some point anyways. The way prices for expensive cars have been going lately, it would seem that soon all the top-tier makes would start doing this even for mildly rare factory specials.

It’s accidents like this that make me question why aerial shows are done in the first place. Whether it’s an airshow or public demonstration of aerial acrobatics of maneuvers, the risk level skyrockets.

“Kind of ironic isn’t it? You have become what you hate.”

Nearly any woman could use your reply, word for word, in response to a men-only event.

Really? I know, I know: styling is subjective. My stance is, although that blue in the pic above is nice, the styling itself sucks IMO. Especially how the rear wheels need to be pushed out an inch on both sides so it doesn’t look like a car platform too small for its body.

Never liked this car. It’s one of the most invisible Lexus vehicles ever, and obviously about as much of a sales bomb as the HS250. It probably has all the features it needs to command the price, but it’s small, not pretty (IMO), and there’s only one drive train. I could never see myself seriously testing one of these

I used to think these Sevilles were fairly ugly. But seeing one in all its original factory glory, this is a damn looker of an American classic. No way I’d spend $25k on it, but after seeing the literally pristine shape of that interior (for a 40 year-old car!!!), I must admit my wallet twitched a little.

I don’t know that there’s been as much (if any at all, really) “haterade” about the GT as there still is about the EB F-150. First off, hating the new GT because it’s a TTV6 is stupid on its face because, how many supercars have had a TT 6-cylinder config? The Nissan GTR, the Jag XJ220, the 911 GT1 and GT2, etc.
