How conincidental that I punched up Show Me How To Live on YT yesterday afternoon. CC will be sorely missed; the music world has lost one of its most vital parts.

Ya, those with the updated interior and V8 are nice.

Ya, they nailed that. That thing is peak 70s. Even got the blue collar muscle car look correct with chrome wheels and raised white lettering.

Would you believe GM had dash-integrated touchscreen controls in cars in the 80s?

Dang, you’re right.

Amazingly, it looks like the last-gen Cadillac Escalade.. What is it with Ford SUVs and wheels poking out too far, though?

Well, I highly doubt they’d do a Demon-powered 300. I could see a 600-ish HP version with the Hellcat 6.2, but a Demon-based car would just be beyond absurd. Maybe they are going to cut-n-paste something together to roughly, vaguely take a shot at the CTS-V...? They’d have to do a lot of work tuning the ride,

1) Not untrue, but those new mid-sizers have the capability of full-sizers from 20 years ago. Back then, it was common for a low-end 3500 to be tow-limited to around 7600 lbs in 4x4, which is what the new Colorado diesel can do. So more content, more crash safety, better economy, same-ish size, same capability, and

1st gear: Oh boy. Who wants to bet GM is next under the microscope for the new Duramax engines? If FCA is found guilty, it could affect GM in Europe too, since they had appropriated the same engine some years back for Cadillac CTS models. I’m hoping GM was smart enough to be transparent about the new Duramax 2.8 and

Hope you didn’t really want that Michael Bolton CD ya brought!

Hood mural? CHECK

Wait a minute. Wait just a freakin’ minute. There’s so much CP material on this car, and the chrome arches is the first thing you mention?!

Sadly, probably some time in the next week.

One must ask if you are simply being rhetorical in a world where LS swaps into 1G NA Miatas have been a thing for some time.

I’m sure you could, if you have enough cash.

Now that is juicy. Can’t wait for Colorado-based camper/expedition setups.

Probably the Colorado, then...? It holds value better, can fit a small family, tow/haul, and do weekly errands without a problem. That way, you can spend extra on a fun car that has already lost most of its value.

Average fuel economy would be the biggest reason not to get a ZR2 for the hell of it. You’ll get a good number fewer tanks of gas from it over the long term, and there’s no solution (yet) to fix the aero problem with those tires in front.

Sure, but so is capability. The 2 arguments I always hear hauled out against the Colorado are “off-road sux! bleh! front air dam!” and “claims about the Colorado having “terrible” resale value”. Well, the off-road market is quite a small slice of the buyers’ pie, so who cares other than people who would honestly

Well, I hope to be a cool dad soon by procuring one of the last ones.
