Fuck off

We need to subsidize public transportation in big cities. The goal should be to move as many people as possible not change the type of cars on the road. Imagine what $8,000 per person could do for someone who uses a bus to get to work? Why give that to someone to buy a $100,000 car who doesn’t really need it?

Nope, they’ll build plenty of EVs in China and the EU, where people actually believe in science and are concerned about climate change.

You are very small minded. This incentive is supposed to drive innovation and move our transportation system forward.

We shouldn’t subsidize EVs because there’s no need to ever have them because gas will be cheap forever. /s

As long as we also end corn subsidies, funding to the Middle East to stabilize oil production, and tax breaks for oil companies I’m ok with this too.

Deadspin: The Dodgers had their shots.

I work for Fox News, and while I see your point, I really think it was the Dodgers’ focus on multiculturalism that did them in.

I think there’s a notable difference between quitting a job and dissolving a company. Would you not agree?

If a boss is employing “a bunch of twats,” it is by definition the boss’s fault.

Also, not everyone is in a position to save money. The capitalist model functions best when people have savings, but widening inequality and depressed labour wages make this impossible in many cases.

Different countries have different laws!

In the UK the employees would have been entitled to at least one weeks notice by law (assuming they’d worked there over one month) and potentially up to 12 weeks notice by law if they’d worked there 12 years.

It’s not America - we have things like employment law & statutory notice periods that scale with length of service. So that is what he owes them. He may or may not have got out of it by winding up the company - we’ll see.

Or President.

It is absolutely an argument against the DH. All I want out of sports is that they be entertaining. There is nothing more entertaining than this, other than maybe Bartolo Colon running the bases.

Let’s be real, Rich Hill would probably crank bombs off of you if you pitched to him today.

I’m not gonna lie: I’ve never been a baseball fan. I watched games 5 and 6 on a whim and I’m considering changing my mind though. Game 5 actually had me glued to the TV and for Game 6 I fell asleep from the 4th inning to the 7th. I woke up and caught the end (like a true baseball fan, I’m led to believe).

They just look like a totally different ball club outside of Minute Maid.

It’s like the cops in Vancouver don’t understand the First Amendment.

I’m not sure I ever really went to bed. I saw a tweet that said:
